This is my gorgeous cat Ginge being taken for a ride in my sons trolley, he happily sat in it whilst being pushed up and down the hallway!!

He's an extra special cat in so many way but mostly because of his what we like to call voluntary work! We have a hospice very local to us and Ginge spends a lot of time up there with the residents receiving fuss and treats. He has quite a following up there and we've been told he has provided much comfort to the residents.

I used to have parrots including turquoisines (bit bigger than budgies, very bright colours) and let them fly about the flat. Came home one day and could hear both the turqs tweeting. Found female in a kitchen cupboard sitting on a tin of soup but couldn't find her male friend anywhere. Still hearing him. After an hour I surmised that he had fallen into the boiler casing. I had to call someone in to dismantle it, whereupon he flew out and fell down the back of the sink into the cleaning cupboard!!

He had a lovely bath in his water bowl while I put my kitchen back together and blocked off the gap so he wouldn't go down again.

When my dog was a puppy the best place she sat was in the miele cat and dog box!

l found our dog trapped under the cupboard after caseing a mouse around he ended up with all the shelves had fallen down on him poor thing he just waited for me to save him he was so happy

Years ago I walked into a pub in the town which was about 4 miles from the farm I lived on for the landlord to say that my dog was upstairs. Dog had a sneaky habit of getting into people's cars on the farm and we think he'd secretly got a lift into town with someone. Found himself in town and then recognised the pub and wondered in!

My boss also transported some donkeys to the donkey Derby five miles away in the big horse box. Got there and 4 chickens who had been perched underneath the horse box hopped out of their hiding place. God knows how they'd managed to cling on for the journey! I think the people who had come for the donkey Derby had more fun chasing the chickens about to catch them!

When I was a teenager, my hamster was found strolling down the road around Christmas by a neighbour. It had pushed open the cage door, hopped down from the counter (I always imagine him doing this Professor Yaffle style), then slipped through the letterbox, which was slightly open as the outside Christmas lights cable was shoved through it. I suppose we were lucky he didn't try chewing it! Anyway, he was returned safely from his Christmas adventure.

My mum found our Cat in the washing machine when I was three... Probably because I put him there thinking he needed a good wash! Children eh.

Our hamster Betty (RIP) managed to escape from her cage last July. We hunted high and low without luck. I was woken at 4am by a scratching at my open bedroom window and found Betty on the roof!! I couldn't get her in and had to leave her to her night on the tiles. I didn't expect to see her again but she strolled across the landing the next morning as if nothing had happened! She only lived a year but was quite a character!

We have a crazy budgie called Reg. He comes out to fly every day and one day felt quite brave and flew upstairs and into the bathroom.
We followed him in and found him perched on the toilet seat! - Can you toilet train budgies?!

My mum's cat fell in the loo as a kitten and I only found him when I popped to use it, we had to rush him to the vets with hypothermia, but he did live to 22 in the end 😻

I once found my dog stuck between the fence & shed in my garden, lord knows how long she was stuck there for!

My cat is very helpful. Today she helped with my knitting.She plays chess and is often found with her head down the loo.

Our lovely old tortoise died this year. She had been a family pet for 44 years but no idea how old. Once the pushchair started rolling by itself and it turned out Jo had got underneath and was taking the baby for a walk.

He likes to be in the bath tub a lot

One of our Chihuahua puppies curled up into a teapot, we couldn't find it for ages :)

In a small swing bin. It was a yorkie dog and not a small one at that. I still find it funny and this was at least 10 years ago. I need to get out more clearly. No chance for photos sadly.

I found my rat in my bed. When I was fast asleep. He'd escaped from his cage and I only knew when I found him crawling up my pajama leg. Gave me such a fright

I found my cat Belle here recently (look carefully, she's right on top of the wall cupboard!)

She gets everywhere, in the washing machine, the dishwasher, on the roof of the house, the top of the Christmas tree, in the wardrobe, in bags, boxes, under rugs. She's the most inquisitive cat I've ever had (and I've had a lot!)

This is my very silly cat who was watching tv and very interested in his new cat friends. He even tried to get to them around the back of the TV!

These were taken a few years ago, when BushCat was a kitten, these days she is more likely to be found stretched full length on a sofa, making the humans scrunch up, as is her right

The builders were just about to leave, having replaced some floor boards, when I heard a faint plaintive meowing. Fairly quickly we realised our beloved 6 month old kitty had gone for a nosey in the bowels of the house while the builder's back was turned. I'll never forget the sight of her dusty ears as she popped up through the hastily made opening.
