Whats the best part of being childfree.
I chose not to have children knew from an early age i never wanted them.
But i have been ask why not whats so good not having them my reply was whats good with having them.
I like my life i like doing what i like i love my freedom.
I have no intrerest in schools finger painting teen dramas i also like sleep.
I dont have the stomach to be around them when they are eating either.
My sister didnt like my reply.
And told me im missing out on what love really feels like.
I replied with.
I'm really not missing out on anything.
You're the one that had kids in your late 40s and all you want is help.
And now im in the doghouse because i was rude.
My family all know dont ask me to baby sit because it won't happen.

I wouldn’t go that far. I can perfectly well understand that a lot of women love spending time with their small children even if it’s very much not for me.

I spent the morning Christmas shopping including a lot of book browsing, had lunch out & then a lovely long afternoon nap with my cat. Good day.

I believe it's true I just can't understand why. STOP JUMPING UP AND DOWN YOU LITTLE ARSEHOLES.

This thinking is strange too as there are so many people and posters who have children who don't look after them in old age (or who are caring for adult children/grandchildren in old age).

Yes, it's so ridiculous. The whole thing is just telling women that our choices, whatever they are, are wrong. It's undiluted misogyny.

What i dislike the most is being told by a man that "you'll regret not having children" "its the best this we ever did!"

Yes mate, because you kept your full time job, promotion path, social life, body, health and you're not primary carer. Of course you think it's wonderful!!!!

Today my reasons are:

The lovely peace and quiet around me. It makes me so happy.

Going on holiday next week.

Being able to stay in my pj's today ahead of my period and just unwind.

Going out for dinner with friends tonight.

Being able to work on my own goals and projects.

My great friends. Having time for them.

My reasons today are being able to be up at 5 & go to the gym, coming back via the coffee shop, and looking forward to an evening sprawled on the sofa with whatever I feel like doing & no need to interact with anyone except the cat.

Where are you going on holiday, @UmbrellaEllaEllaElla?

Today's is sponsored by the bedlam that is Gatwick Airport - just about to head there and it would be a trillion times more stressful with kids!
