Came home early and caught AP out don't know whether to laugh or cry!

Had a report to finish today for work so decided to finish it at home as there would be less distractions as kids would be at school. Anyway walked into the house to find AP and her BF stark naked and sh*gging in the middle of the living room! They were so carried away it seemed like forever for them to realise I was there (well probably a few seconds but seemed like forever!) I don't know who was more embarassed them or me . They ran to her bedroom and the BF left very quietly soon after. I have told her that we will need to have a chat tomorrow as she has college this evening but to be honest I'm not sure what I am going to say to her! Any ideas would be very welcome

I think in all honesty although this thread is still making my laugh he he he... if this was my au pair, she would be fired. Sure, she's old enough to decide on her own if she wants to have sex, but not in my house. If she was off duty and over at the boyfriend's house, that would be none of my business. But, on my living room carpet, no way no how would I tolerate that.

This reminds me, I think I have another clause to write into the contract of my forthcoming nanny.

Jeez, I've done some moaning about my nanny on this site, but she would NEVER do this. Of course, she is a nanny and quite a bit older than your au pair, so I am perhaps comparing apples to oranges.

LOL - it could have been worse( only marginally) you could have arrived home with your MIL/neighbour/children for example.

I really wouldn't mind the having sex (though I think it's just common courtesyto do it in private and when they can't be heard) but I would have a bit of an issue with the bf being there without your permission. When I worked I wasn't allowed to have guests in my office without clearing it with security, and when her place of work is your home, where your children are, I would be even more wary. I do understand that AP's are living in your home and are perfectly entitled to have friends and partners, but personally I would want to vet them in some way before they had free access to my house. Is that ott?

But surely the knickers and condoms only got left because highlight interupted them and they had to scarper pronto/

And come on guys give the girl a break, she's young and didn't any of you ever have sex somewhere you shouldn't? i know I did and my mum caught me Me and my boyfriend at the time in the front room one night, very late, in front of the fire, me on top (aggghhhhhh nooooooooo , 1 was 19, I'll never forget it and never had sex in my parents front room again! I don't think you'll have to worry about catching her in the front room, or anywhere else again highlight.

True , but the AP didn't make the effort to track them down afterwards, in her embarrassment, and it was only because Highlight thought to check that she found them first. It sounds as if there was an intervening period when Highlight was on the phone in which AP could have come down again and looked - she must have realised surely ! - before Highlight found them later in the evening .

Yes if I have ever lost my knickers I have generally been aware of the fact.

TBH Beetroot, I don't think anything was said, maybe just a 'I don't appreciate having to see that' or something, was a long time ago and I was SO mortified that I've blanked most of it, apart from the actual moment that door opened, ohhhhhhh, YUCK!

She won't do it agin, she probably shouldn't have done it, but come on sex in the afternoon is much more fun when it's not in a bed. She made a mistake, she was caught and she's apologised and is obviously mortified.

I do know about her BF and have no problem with him coming round during the day he is also AP and they go to college together sweet kid, don't think he'll be round too much now though!

DH gets back from trip tomorrow already getting emails from him to say can we try the rug out!

She has also texted me today to say that they won't be joining us for sunday lunch!

I don't think I'd fire her! I mean how embarrassing for her, she won't want to get stuck in the situation again will she! As for sex all I can say is my GOD you can't expect them to do without it, quietly and not in the more public places would be good though....it is a hard job they have to do these au pairs you know...I couldn't hack being in a different country and having to do ironing!

PMSL Have just found this thread. It's given me the best laugh I have had in ages. Unfortunately I'm in the office and everyone thinks I've lost the plot.

I went out when my x left, he had left a few times and this time i thought sod it. Im going to get him out of my system once and for all. I was slightly inbalanced at the time. Anyhow i ended up having sex rather drunkingly back at my house. The next day when he had left ( he was chucked out as soon as i woke up sober) my parents came round. My mother was messing around and picked up the used condom saying oh my god at the same time as dropping it. My father went bright red, my heart doubled its speed. As the heat rose in my face i said, im going to kill my mate she was babysitting last night and she is obviously using my house as a knocking shop.

When you are young and up for it you can't wait to get to the bedroom!Not a sacking offence but you could suggest she keeps her private life private in future She is probably cringing today

I'm just sighing with envy at the youthful enthusiasm...
