@Asdmummyhere 😅 I got the same yesterday and I was on a works team meeting when I saw the text come through. I made my excuses quickly to come off so I could check 🤣🤣

@Mumofthree2ofneed they wont penalise you if you are receiving mrc or hrc care as you will have no work commitments.

Tysm, I did the math myself he gets hrc and lrm which was amazing to hear! I've been relying on family and friends to look after him while I work. No-one can handle his needs now because he becomes too agitated and I'm the only one who can calm him.so I need to quit I just wanted to know how much I'd get penalised. So thank you again ,

Finally the wait is over.

My daughter has been awarded HRC until 2025
And also low rate mobility from her 5th birthday in January.

Evidence sent:
Sleep diary
Referral ASD spoa form and acceptance letter
Salt assessment report
Graduated response reports for the last two years at nursery and preschool
Letter from the health visitor it was intended to support EHCP application but I sent a copy to DLA as well.

This will help my daughter in so many ways I cried on the phone poor woman

Good morning all, just an update, i received a text yesterday saying my son was awarded.
Scan date 20/6 2nd text 19/9 so 5 weeks and 1 day after.
I rang them today spoke to a lovely lady who couldnt give me enough information, to find out rates so i could inform UC rather than wait weeks for the letter.

It has been backdated to the day i rang for the forms, so if you rang for the forms and are awarded, and want to update UC do not go by your scan date, go by the date on your claim forms if you sent them back in by the date requested.

Just phoned....scan date 30/06, she said I'm looking at another week or so before allocated to a DM.
Getting nervous now, I send no medical or professional evidence, only about my daughters hypothyroidism, which isn't why I'm claiming for her. Then was just what I wrote and neighbour and close friend...could my daughter still be awarded with no evidence or am I getting my hopes up for her too much 😓. Hope many of you have great news today xx

Mine took about 6 weeks. It’s quicker to call and ask for rates if you want to update UC/Tax Credits

You can either wait for the letter or call them to ask for the rates and the dates of the award. If your child has received MRC or HRC then you can add the carer element onto your UC. With the carer element you have no work commitments so if you leave your job, you won’t face any sanctions

They send a generic letter through the post to state that your child has been declined. If you’d like to do a MR then pls let them know and they’ll send a letter outlining why your specific claim has been declined. You can then state each point mentioned and explain why you disagree referencing any evidence you’ve sent. You can also send in new evidence.

Many people go from a decline to HRC during a MR so I’d recommend it if you have the energy for it. Don’t be disheartened!

Hi everyone, scan date 26/06. Called just now for the first time and my daughter was awarded mrc and decision was made this morning. I was expecting lrc also but to be totally honest I am extremely grateful for what she has been awarded and it will be such a great help.

I know there's quite a few on here with same scan date, so hang in there x

I would expect you to get a decision anyday now. Its crazy how we can wait months and be fine but when we are almost at the end the wait is unbearable. I hope your claim is successfu. Let us know x

Anyone else STILL waiting for 23/6? I’m seeing so many awarded after us, I phoned a week ago today & was told still in a holding que 🙄🙄

I would do but I’ve got my son all day today & taking him out in half an hour, think I might have to leave it until tomorrow morning 😩

Hi everyone, I’ve been on these threads, soooo many times over the past few weeks but never posted. Scan date 29/06, received second text on 25/9. I’m desperate to call but should I wait a little longer?

Im so nervous about the outcome as I barely sent any evidence for undiagnosed ASD. Did send off a school report but that is it. Since then our health visitor has completed the referrals needed for a diagnosis and I don’t know if I should have waited to apply for DLA until we had a diagnosis 😩

@ARH36 I'm the same date, was told not with CM yet until 18.5 weeks.

We are all getting told different things though, and later dates are being awarded.

You giving them a ring will do no harm and see what they say to you.
Yours could be with DM you never know.

@ARH36 im the 30/6 but same date last text, they are telling people so much different information, I was told this morning 2nd week of November but have been told the 1st week of November last week, think I'm just going to wait now lol its very stressful x
