Hi guys I just got my first back payment no letters to confirm so I know my son got it,scan date 20/06 my question is how much will universal credit penalise me if I quit work, my childcare can't handle my sons needs anymore as he is volatile...he has autism and adhd.

Scan date 6/7. Just spoke to a lovely lady, extra evidence received and scanned in however my claim hasn't been looked at yet. She said its taking around 18-19 weeks x

Okay ladies I got through I’m 17 weeks today, awaiting to be allocated to a case manager .. she said waiting times are 18.5 weeks now can’t give me an estimated date either and she said once it gets to the case manager it could take up to 2 weeks to get an answer .. I am not calling again till after 18.5 weeks now I’m fed up of times getting pushed back.. she try say the case manager is working through them on date order which is just a lie for one because how do July people get there results before mid end June ? Pathetic.. wish I didn’t call just wound myself up now .. good luck ladies x

I had my scan date wrong! It's 29/06, not with CM yet, 18.5 weeks until it goes to them.
So easily another month of this 😭

@Treena023 fingers crossed , she was lovely I can’t complain about her it’s just the way they’ve got it set out is wrong I think but there you go.. hope you hear soon x

I no it’s totally crazy having to wait so long 😔 let me no if you hear anything and I will let you no if I do. I rang a while back and was told it should be looked at around the 9th November so if I don’t hear anything I’m going to ring them on the 10th x

It’s that music that gets me!!! Think they put it on to try and deter us from calling… it’s killing my ears 😆😆

I mean there waiting to be allocated to a case manager so I can only assume by this weekend or start of week they’ll have gone surely ? Then perhaps the end of next week beginning of the following we should get results? think the most frustrating thing is for example waiting all these 18 weeks to possibly get a decline you know it’s craziness .. we’ll all can do now is wait x

I've just had a txt off dwp, my heart jumped into my throat for it only to be about the cost of living payment 😅🤦‍♀️

Just got off the phone, spoke to a lovely man who was really helpful. He said the same pretty much that it’s looking at 18.5 weeks I’m currently on 17 wks. However, I asked him whether it was worth sending in extra evidence I have received this week. He said yes absolutely but he also took down the details of it in case it gets looked at earlier. Ahhh another week and a-bit of pure anxiety and worry!! This is absolutely the worse thing I have ever waited for… it’s so draining especially with hearing so many people have been declined too. I can’t believe how much we have to fight for our kids, it’s so wrong!! Rant over haha 😂 xx
