@Rebeccanew , I'll let you know as I'm 5wks today from second txt 😆. Scan date 26/6. Not holding out much hope though!

I’ll give them a ring this afternoon… just so nervous incase we’ve been declined 😔 x

@Lovely17 yours cant be that far from being done now surely when u ring ask if they have sent of letters to anyother providers like doctors or anything ? That can hold it up

I sent a detailed form 6 iep school reports and a ot appointment letter and also gave them the date of the ep assessment.
Im only 14 weeks today and the wait is killing me. I really hope I don't get declined but I should had ep assessment by time of decision if I have to do MR.
Had anyone only sent little evidence but still been awarded?

Today I’m at 5 weeks from the 2nd text they sent me…text date 19/09, scan date 23/06. Wasn’t with a DM yesterday morning. Not very optimistic at this point. Feel like pulling my hair out!

Scan date 22/06 not sure I’ve the energy to call 😫called last week and wasn’t with dm. Might call tomorrow

Hi I haven’t posted since part 14 when my son was declined a lot of use told me to ask for a reconsideration well I did and he’s today been awarded high rate care I’m so happy for him don’t give up on ur claims

How did you do this? Do you just ring and ask or do you have to do something else xx

Called again today on hold for 1.5 hours. Scan date 15th June, second text received 12th September. Still not with a case manager 😞

Just came off the phone he said they was looking at around 20th June last week so looking around 23/27th June now so seems as though they moving fast now! But they all seem to be saying different and some dates after is being awarded before so all hit and miss

Just tried to call got cut off straight away

I phoned and told them I don’t agree with the decision told them why on the phone and also posted them written response as to why I disagree sent some extra evidence and he got awarded today my scan date was the 24th may x

It was true for me my last text was Tuesday 19th sep and I got my answer today :)

@MumtoADHDDiva thank you it’s been a tough 18 weeks 😅 just very grateful I’ve had the outcome I hoped for. My scan date was 21/06 and I called yesterday and wasn’t with a DM approx 1pm and called 9am this morning a a decision was made yesterday. So it didn’t take them long to do it and I didn’t send that much evidence as we don’t have a diagnosis yet x

@Spicegirl91 that's such great news, you must be so relieved! That didn't take long at all! Sounds like I have a little while to go (17wks +1 currently) so hopefully next week for me 🤞. I'm so happy to see so many people getting awards for their littles ones xx

I know this question has been asked a lot but I have updated UC and left a message asking for everything to be backdated to my scan date is that all I need to do and how long does this take? Thank you xx

Regarding UC back pay we have received letters for both disabled element and carers element, sating the below-

The Decision Maker has reviewed the reasons for the delay in notifying us of the change.
On this occasion it has been decided that special circumstances apply and your Universal
Credit will be adjusted from the date of change.
Changes to your Universal Credit entitlement will be shown in your monthly statement.

So reading this as they have backdated it? Should backdated payments go in with a normal month?

Fingers crossed for all those still waiting on decisions
