Hi my scan date is 13/06 I have just got through and a decision was made on 19/10 for lower care rate until June 2025, I might go for a mr as my son has had a diagnosis since then, good luck to everyone waiting x

Lollypops88 thank you I was expecting him to get a decline as he did last year so I'm happy for what he's been awarded it will help out loads as he likes to break things and take things to pieces x

@Sezzlebean thats fab as long as ur happy with whats been awarded and it does some positive for u and ur family and your son

I'm 25/7 so still a long wait 😭 I should be due my last text anytime now. I just can't believe how long it all takes.

I am happy he's got something it will make a difference. The lady u spoke to today was lovely and I wasn't expecting her to call back and tell me the decision but she did I also rang Monday and spoke to a lovely man just to let them know about his change of school x

fingers crossed July won’t take as long to go through as June. Sounds like they had a lot that month.

@MilaMom who knows i think they have had increased amounts they told me 13nov that i would possibly here by but some have been awarded from july already so who knows 🤷‍♂️🌈❤️

My 15 week mark is tomorrow 😪 I swear it's killing me! Read in the Facebook page about a woman being declined even with loads of evidence and her little one being legally blind just because he was only 6 months so no doubt my boy will get declined after this massive wait as he is only 10 months, 7 when I went off the forms!

Yes it definitely is a little surprise lol guess we will find out, hopefully, soon!
I will send my additional information next week and hope for the best.

I'd love to know how they are getting through July claims already when people with my scan date of 26/6 are being told to wait until November 🤣 this anxiety actual angers me I won't even bother calling up cause I'd just get agitated with them (I know it ent there fault) but doesn't make the waiting anymore easier 😅

We have scan date of 29/6 and the stress is real! I cant wait for it all to be over now! Good luck to all, hoping you all hear something soon 😊

@MumofLou im the 30th and it's killing me waiting lol! I rang last week and they told me 18.5 week wait and would be around the first week of November, but everyone is being told different x

Scan date 29/6 rang today and was told currently taking 18/19 weeks, she said it SHOULD go to a decision maker next week

Exactly the same scan and text dates as me. I was told on Friday mine was going to DM this week. Fingers crossed for you, let me know what they say!

It’s horrible I want to call to see if there’s any update but I feel it’s just such a waste of time 😂 got 2 letters to send tomorrow I’m 17 weeks on Thursday will send it next day delivery normally gets done quick so I think that’s a good excuse for me to call later in the week to see if it’s been scanned on the system and ask for an update then! Think everyones done with calling now I don’t blame use either ! 😩❤️

Called up today told was awarded on Friday. Scan date was 21st June. So relieved :-)

Wasn't sure it would be accepted as no "other person" involved to write supporting notes / no diagnosis of anything. But did fill up all the space on form, and included an old referral form from school, plus a private assessment report.

Award was for 2 years but DC will be 16 next year so not sure if it will last that long in reality.

u are right, just got my second text today, the first one wzs on the 2nd of october, so hopefully 5 week after we can get a décision, my scan date is 25/7. is also strange how some peoples dont even receive a single text/ letter🤔

So I got through at exactly a hour of waiting , she said it’s taking 19 weeks to go to case manager. Can’t give me a exact date but am looking at around the end of the month for it to be looked at 🥴
i just think it’s pot luck who u speak to and who’s desk it lands on good luck everyone 🤞

That's exactly what I have done, I'll be 16 weeks Thursday. Sent 2 forms off today special delivery and plan on calling on Thursday to see if they've been scanned into the system and get an update x
