DLA wait times part 16 (2023)

Following on from part 15…

Seems like there's still people waiting for answers beggining and mid June. Then there's people being awarded end of June

Morning all just got off the phone scan date 21st June a decision was made over the weekend for MC and LM back pay will be in my bank this week....Good luck to all waiting this week xxx

Scan date 23/06 just called and they are saying it’s now 20 weeks 😫 I got my last text 19 September . I may call back in a few days because I’ve seen so many with a decision maker after 23/06 . Good luck ladies ❤️❤️❤️

im awfully confused about the wait times to be fair that’s why I won’t call, some people from beginning of July are being awarded yet people around 20th June are being told 20 weeks?! I do not understand what’s going on?

Yeh she said there was nothing on the system to say they had tried calling me but said it could of been the decision maker ringing so she's sent email straight through to them and told me to keel my phone near x

I think they are telling people longer to wait to stop the calls tbh.
There are deffo people being awarded with end June dates/beginning of July.

These wait times are really scattered about new claims in July being awarded ino mines a coc but that was mid May and still nothing 😞x

@Sunshineclouds11 yeah definitely agree, that’s fair enough however If it was me calling I’d rather someone say I’m going to be honest with you don’t call back until so and so date because time scales are fluctuating but realistically your looking at so and so date uno? It just messes with peoples heads hearing one thing seeing other things 😴 that’s why I’m holding out with the calls I’m on week 17 and I’ll just wait now because it’s too stressful hearing all the different things these call handlers are saying ! Whats your scan date ? X

@LGR004 I agree, I can take the bluntness of being told not to call just don't lie to me haha!
I've never called tbh as people are being told so many different things.
Scan date is 26/06 so hopefully not much longer!

I don't know my scan date is 15th June not heard anything yet

I was The same @Cocopops22 i was told now 20 weeks on Friday and said I would know end of Nov Which would be 23 weeks. I’m not calling now just going to wait it out as seems it just depends what pile yours is in. X

@Sunshineclouds11 that's exactly how it should be! & I’m 29/06 3 days after you! Texts on 5th and 25th September ! Like you said fingers crossed we here within the next week or 2 but there’s no guarantee , just baffles me how people are still waiting from mid June yet people from early July are getting results ?! I’ve never known anything like it! The gentleman did say to me last Monday to call back today as wait times might reduce but by reading some posts it’s gone up to 20 weeks by the sounds of it ! So I’ll just hold out for now until the end on this month / beginning of November which would put me in 18.5 ish weeks , no point calling this week Now ! X

Just some reassurance for those mid June dates still waiting.

I called last week and got confirmation that we’ve been awarded. I can see back pay pending on my account to go in tomorrow. No letter as of yet but told this can take a while.

The lady I spoke to has just rung me back a decision has been made mc lm back pay end of this week.

Scan date 23/06. Not with a DM yet still. Been told to wait up to 22 weeks for a decision for my daughters new claim. Just over 17 weeks now, was told 15 weeks at the start…the anxiety is awful!

@Mummyrach13 whats ur scan date? It’s so confusing! It’s making me so nervous because I think I might get accepted but I know I will have to do MR because my boy is 4 but his needs are so high due to his autism I am going to try get high mobility for him but it’s making me nervous just want to hear back 😫

I just got through after an hour, he said it should have been viewed by decision maker by now but it hasn't been so he said he's going to try and get it moved along

I just called again…scan date 22.6 still not with DM said she can’t tell me when it will either! I questioned how July are being awarded when lots of June claims still haven’t been dealt with and she said can’t discuss other claims 😂 after an hour and a half being on hold I can honestly say waste of my time again! This is all so tedious! Will try again tomorrow. Good luck everyone 🤞🏽 x

I have the same date as you . I rang them on Thursday and was told it wasn't with DM, should be this week and could possibly take another two after that . I'm not ringing anymore . I think I'm going to be declined anyway .

Im The 26/6 @Cocopops22 so still a Little wait by the looks of it. 17 weeks today and these last weeks are horrendous.
Im not feeling hopeful. 🤞you get what your boy deserves x
