DLA wait times part 16 (2023)

Following on from part 15…

My son 3 is on the asd pathway and thinking gdd too. Basically non verbal, says maybe 50 singular words but can not communicate. I sent paediatricians initial report as only seen her once. The early years forum acceptance letter stating he was getting an ehcp and other little bits from nursery stating his development was between 4-12 months in different areas. I now have his review from salt for his ehcp and his Asq results which all show black so I'd rather send them off before hand because I have an awful feeling about decline already. We had a video call with a educational physiologist which didn't go very well weeks ago and not even had that report yet. Emails after emails and no reply 🤦‍♀️ I have been told he probably won't get a official diagnosis for years xx

Hey all , sending positivity to everyone this week awaiting decisions or going to a DM , I’m 29/06 so another couple weeks for me yet! I know some people with late June early July have been awarded but I know realistically I’m looking at another 2.5/3 weeks before a decision is made I’m 17 weeks this Thursday coming ! anyone gone to a DM last week awaiting a decision ? What’s your scan dates?! Fingers crossed for everyone’s LO’s and pray everyone gets the decision that’s needed ! It’s a long hard wait but it’s nothing we can’t deal with ❤️🌈

Im 26/6 17 weeks tomorrow and was told end of Nov 😂 on Friday so I won’t be ringing any time soon.
Is anyone planning to call tomorrow?

I think they are just telling people thay to stop them ringing before a decision is made knowing you will of found out by then most people are 18 weeks

I think the same! I’ve heard all diff amounts of weeks this week and seen others with dates similar been awarded so we shall see. X

Is the scan date the day they receive the forms back?

I'm going to call tomorrow see if i get any joy we are now on week 21 scan date 01/06 they said to me any day now

@Asdmummyhere my daughter hasnt even got as far as a peads appointment yet and u sound like u have sent far more info than i have, and also told it can take up to 3years for a formal diagnosis, iv known people on here to send even sleep diarys and things like that to highlight they are in higer need, lots of hugs its a constant fight to get what our childeren need with apointments and reports being made hang in there your doing great 🌈❤️ send the info 💪 i dont think we will get denighed

I rang Friday regarding my LB and she said his was 26/6 and she was sounding like she had already clocked out. But she did say it's at least a 19 week wait.
I said I'll ring in a couple of weeks and she said well there still may be no information to tell.
Maybe it varies from city to city, who knows 🤔

Praying for a decision today going to ring at 9. Rang Thursday and was told a decision would be made "any day now"

Scan date 4th july just rung as I had missed call Thursday she told me its with decision maker and to keep my phone at hand as they may call today x
