The waiting is such a horrible feeling

I do t believe it got through the menu and they hung up on me. Not even a hello

Hiya all I've just called and the lovely lady said "it is where it should be" don't know what this means but hopefully it isn't too long now

@Meli3 they have all my extra evidence scanned but it is not with a DM yet. Said should have an answer by the end of next week 😊

She couldn't tell me I would assume with what she said as it's withing the 13week bracket and apologised to me that it's in a pile for the DM x

Congrats @Mrsamandac and @georgiesmuma, great news!

Just got off the phone with them- no guarantees but the gentleman I spoke to said they'd expect a decision within the next week. He said it hadn't been allocated to a decision maker yet, but it's been marked to go for a decision.

He did also mention that it may be worked on over the weekend, so it sounds like some areas might be doing overtime this weekend. The waiting is horrible!

@Shellbel10 mines been with case manager since 15th there’s a note for them to come back to it apparently so might be trying to ring around people, told me if I haven’t heard by Tuesday to call back at 9am for an answer 😩

So i called them this morning. And mine hasnt even been touched yet. And my application was received on the 7/09. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi Guys,
so I’ve been following the posts but not messaged up until now. They received my DLA forms 14th Sept. I’ve received a text today saying we are still looking at your DLA child claim. When a decision is made we will confirm it in writing. There is no need to contact us about it. I mean I don’t believe they will have looked at it yet with the massive backlog. I’ve sent quite a bit of evidence off but I’m worried I didn’t actually write enough on the forms when it talks about the child’s needs and how long it takes to do things. Wishing you all luck xx

We were scanned the 26th August. I have called today and they have said that it should be looked at next week but to call by the end of November if I hadn't heard anything

Hopefully will all get good news soon unfortunately there's a huge backlog and i was apologised to about it today we just have to sit tight and hope for the best. It's really hard not to worry though. Good luck everyone x

I'm 12th Sep and got the same text today was hoping meant they were looking at it

Ours scanned 21st sept got letter 7th Nov saying sorry they haven't looked at it yet. Coming up to 9th week next week so hoping it's not much longer around another 4 weeks is my guess

How long are you usually waiting for when you ring

Hi all sorry for jumping on my scan date 06/09
i rang this morning and was told the decision should be made by early December … I have been following the posts for sometime and remained quiet due to the fact they are still in august but Septembers are being looked at in due course ! Anxiety is building on waiting for a decision now but good luck to everyone x

My scan date is also September 6th xx

13 week wait will take it to 6th of December I think so fingers crossed xxx

@Shellbel10 i was on hold 40 minutes before they answered

@Gemma96x have u had a decision from UC yet? I have a letter on my journal stating they agree with special circumstances that delayed me up dating them and my UC will be adjusted from July but no mention of back pay. Has anyone else received info on back pay or is just paid?xx
