Hopefully we’ll hear something before Christmas I’m not very confident my daughter will get it as I didn’t have a lot of evidence to send in 😞 xx

How long between sending and receiving your scan letter did it take?

Me either to be honest just a few bits diagnosis report mainly and hospital letters x

Sorry that didn’t make sense, I shouldn’t type whilst distracted! I meant how long did it take for you to receive your scan letter, after you sent the application?

I’m 17th September, god the wait is horrible isn’t it!

Scan date is 19th august and was sent to a decision maker yesterday ! Still no decision. Hopefully I get one soon x

I haven't had any back pay yet still waiting in case manager to message on journal from last wk x

@Lostatsea10 for me it was maybe 2 weeks after, then about 7-8 weeks since sent they sent another letter apologising for the delay ect. Then nothing after that and I’m around week 13 x

@Gemma96x mine was sent to decision maker on Wednesday but the letter doesn’t make sense. Why does everything have to be so difficult 😂xx

Just wondering if someone can help. My daughter Was awaeded hrc and I updated with universal credit. My statement has already been produced and I've just revieved a letter on my journal saying they are sending me a payment of 418 from the assement period I will be getting paid next week for. However no mention of back pay. The dla claim has a start date of 27th July so surely uc should backpay from then?

@Amymoody please put on journal you would like both care element and disability back payed to that date, the reason you couldn't let them know it's because you was waiting so long for a decision they should sort it for you x

You have to say that you want it back dated otherwise they won't do it good luck 🤞 xx

Scan date was 6th letter arrived on the 14th but date stated on the letter was the 10th which was a Saturday … presuming postal strikes during that time also xx

My scan date was late July, can't remember the date off the top of my head.

When I phoned last week I was told they were working on late June scan dates and was told I'd be lucky to receive a decision by December. But likely to be January

It's getting on for 20
Weeks now.

People have said they’re working overtime this weekend. I’ve seen people previously get texts at the weekend so fingers crossed

@Shellbel10 the lady on the phone yesterday said mine is where it should be I'm not sure what that means? 🤔 My date is 23rd August x

@Shellbel10 ive just had a text saying my daughter qualifies! 16th august scan and with dm since 15th don’t know what she’s getting but honestly so relieved to get something x
