It was 3 working days for me but they said it would vary by bank. I'm with Barclays.

So happy! I received a call about an hour ago from the most lovely man who asked a few extra questions about my son, and I’ve now just got a text saying we’ve been awarded (letter and details to follow so I’m not sure what we’ve been awarded as yet). It’s a long old wait but I’m just so pleased we got there in the end. We are 12.5 weeks - scan date was 16th September. Good luck to everyone else xx

Shellbel10 · 15/12/2022 13:32

Have you found out how long mandatory reconsideration taking @sadiekt21

Cody3 · 15/12/2022 14:27

@Ollie20 probably be worth ringing up due to the long wait, they sent forms for my sons mobility in aug they got it in September and I’m looking at 21 weeks wait. Just maybe worth asking about

Cody3 · 15/12/2022 14:29

@KaidensMummy0307 was yours just for care component?

Kayla1988 · 15/12/2022 14:56

Spent 55 minutes on the phone but good news my 3 year old son has been awarded middle rate, my scan date was 15th September the decision was made on 13th December, good luck everyone

sadiekt21 · 15/12/2022 15:08

Ive rang and they said 4-5 weeks with it being Xmas but hoping someone on here has had a quicker response time x

Mummytolucia · 15/12/2022 15:19

Hi 21st september

mammaov3 · 15/12/2022 15:44

Has anyone had a decision from 20th September yet?

Mam2mcc · 15/12/2022 16:21

@mammaov3 ive rang today and she told me it will probably be done over the weekend my scan date is the 21st sept

Mam2mcc · 15/12/2022 16:24

So happy for all who have been awarded 🤞we haven’t got much longer to wait (21st sept scan date)

mammaov3 · 15/12/2022 16:40

@Mam2mcc okay thats great my scan date 23rd hopeing to hear next week good luck

Lozzaaaaa · 15/12/2022 16:59

Does anyone know how long it takes UC once with a decision maker please?

Gemzie1993 · 15/12/2022 17:40

So worried I’m seeing people with later scan dates. My scan date was the first week of December. Phoned yesterday was told 8 more weeks at least for coc . Is that right? 🤮🙃

Gemzie1993 · 15/12/2022 17:40

1st week of September not December 🤦🏻‍♀️

mammaov3 · 15/12/2022 17:58

@Gemzie1993 i think people are waiting over 20 weeks for a change of circumstances

Gracelove1 · 15/12/2022 18:34

My scan date is the 22nd September. Phoned today for the first time and it's not even with a DM yet. However, I'm in a DLA group and I've seen people with these dates get accepted/declined today: 20th/21st/27th/30th.
They do seem to be flying through September but god knows in what order 😅

I’m in a DLA group I’ve seen same 27th and 30th September I’m 26th I rang today been told not with DM yet to ring back on 23rd

Cody3 · 15/12/2022 22:09

It’s so strange, people with dates after mine 16th September are being made within the next week or 2 I’ve waited 13 weeks and was told I’ll be waiting another 8-9 weeks

mammaov3 · 15/12/2022 22:19

@Cody3 it maybe that they are treating yours as a change of circumstances? due to you already in receipt of care component sorry iff i got this wrong

mammaov3 · 15/12/2022 22:37

@Cody3 i believe a change of circumstances are taking 20+weeks

Cody3 · 16/12/2022 07:11

@mammaov3 it could be not really sure why though cause it’s just applying for the other component, since I’ve sent it in and rand yesterday the waiting time is 5 weeks longer than they told me🤦🏻‍♀️

mammaov3 · 16/12/2022 09:37

@Cody3 i can't understand it myself maybe you could ring them ask them why so long just for applying for mobile?

Sarah1211 · 16/12/2022 10:31

Hello ive been following peoples comments and thought id post my update
My scan date for my son was 29/09 ive been waiting 11 weeks and just called for an update
The lady said its about 12 and half weeks for it to go to dession maker and i should here by mid january. Hope that helps anyone waiting :)

mammaov3 · 16/12/2022 11:41

I had to ring them again today as i needed to ask iff i sent actual evidence of my sons hearing loss in or iff i just told them about it at the time i sent application in as i didn't have a letter stating diagnosis, anyway i told them i now have a letter stating his diagnosis she told me to send it in and also she put a urgent message on system for it to be looked at as the 12 week deadline is up, but now i have to send this letter in im very much douting now that it will be sorted by Christmas waiting for this letter with the strikes aswell 🙁
