Hi….I’m scan date 7th September. I rung yesterday and they said has been with a decision maker since last week. Is anyone else waiting still from this date ? I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing. 1st new claim.

Barclays but I haven't received payment yet I called them yesterday to find out decision

I received payment today. Was told on phone Friday last week that she got high rate care and no mobility. Still no letter so
dont know when it is awarded til.
@TheaandNellymummy I didn’t send it anything. Just filled out the form as detailed as I could.

@TheaandNellymummy I sent in report from paediatrician, report from SALT, I got SENCO to fill in a bit on the form, education psychologist report, letter saying he’s awaiting assessment for ASD, individual education plan and then when it arrived a copy of his draft EHCP. I was so worried though as I didn’t feel I put a great deal on his form. I found it so overwhelming only used the paper on the form. I know other people had sent extra x

I called up as my daughter now has her draft ehcp so they said to send it ASAP this week as her case is going to DM soon. I sent in originally Ed psychologist report adhd assesment findings senco info school report and head teacher wrote in the part about somebody who's know her. The drafted ehcp shows so much info about her needs and shows just how much she needs vs a normal child her age. I'm hoping with that and the above it will be enough evidence.

@Sr1984 same date. Been with dm since last week. Not sure if good or bad sign.

This wait is awful. Please keep me updated if you hear anything and I’ll do the same x

@Pumpkinpie29 you’ll get your care component from then it got scanned In but you won’t get mobility until your daughter is 5

Hey girls, currently on hold wondering if anyone can give me any advice as I’m guessing I won’t get through. So my claim so both my sons is up on January 15th obvs I sent off my renewal. I’ve checked my bank today and I’ve a a 2 week payment for one of my sons. Does this mean I won’t get a payment in December. This is my first renewal so I don’t know if this is normal. If anyone’s got any advice I’d really appreciate it x

@Sr1984will do. I’m worried they’ve asked for more information from my son’s hospital team. Not because I’ve said anything Hospital team won’t agree with but they will take months to reply.

I'm on week 22 of a change of circumstances and it STILL isn't with a decision maker......so utterly fed up!!!!

I'm bloody pissed off. I've been waiting since late July which I think is around 22 weeks too.

It's an absolute shit show

My original letter said 11 weeks.

Also - I phoned up last week and they said I'd be lucky to receive a decision in December, it still isn't with a decision maker.

Said to call again in January for it to be escalated if I don't hear anything.

Useless arses.

Scan date 15th September still not heard anything rang 2 weeks ago and hadnt been passed to DM, anyone from same date heard anything yet please

@Kayla1988 give them a ring. My date was 14th sept and I woke up to the money in my account yesterday xx

Has anyone had a decision at the 12 week mark or has everyones been over 13 weeks?

@Kayla1988 im 16th September, rang Monday and it hadn’t been allocated to anyone to look at as yet. They said it should be this week and to call back Friday (don’t think I will though), so frustrating to have to hold for almost an hour to be given no update. I’ve just been hoping I’ll either get a text or a payment and keep checking each day. Hopefully we both hear very soon!

My scan date is the 15th September. It was allocated to a decision maker last Friday & still no decision has been made. I’ll ring up again later on today x

My daughters claim took 12 weeks xx

@Mummytogirls87 oh right thats good to no as my sister found out at 12 weeks a year ago though and iv not come across anyone saying before 13 weeks im hoping to hear before Christmas but im douting i will 😔 im at 12 weeks now

@mammaov3 I phoned up at 12 weeks and it wasn’t even with a decision maker then next morning they phoned me and my daughters award was made in around 3 hours xx

@Mummytogirls87 thats great congratulations on your award , i will probably ring mid next week iff i don't hear anything as i rang about 4 days ago they seid its not with DM yet but it shouldn't be two much longer 🤞

Rang this morning. Told award likely to be made, but they are awaiting an NI number to be generated for him (14 weeks + 1 on scan date).

Anyone been in a similar position? How long do NI numbers take to be generated? I’ve said I can send in more information (passport/birth certificate if need confirmation of ID,l), but was told not needed).
