@Poniesandproseccobubbles I haven’t had the back payment yet. I just received two letters on my journal, one was for the disabled child element and the other for the carers element saying they accept under special circumstances why I was late making the change as obviously you can’t make the change until you receive an award for DLA. It said that my case manager would be contacting me about the payment but I’m inpatient so I rung and looks like it’s all been backdated from the end of July. They just have to authorise the payment so should get it early next week i would have thought. It’s such a long and draining process though for everyone and yeah very frustrating! I hope you hear something very soon, hopefully before Christmas x

Scan date 12th September, just spoke to DLA and my sons is with someone now, any one know how long it is with them before I'll hear? Thanks 😊

When i rang one agent told me i would get a text today or tommorow if my child was awarded. This was on monday. I then rang yesterday and they said by end of next week. Sometimes i feel they already know the outcome but will only tell you thr good news and just let the ones who havent been awarded wait for a letter hence why the agent said till next week

@Fah66 2 years ago when I applied it was declined, they told me on the phone

I think the whole wait process is so frustrating. And i honestly wish a medical professional was one to decide and not the people we send our forms to

It really is horrible the wait isn’t it, even more so there’s a delay on top

Been watching the thread for a while but first post. Scan date 7th September, got told today it is with the DM and will get a decision any day. Its for 15 year old daughter with eating disorder and severe mental health issues.
Her behaviours, rituals and need for control dictate almost every aspect of our family life at the moment so this is much needed. The wait is agonising. Fingers crossed for you all!!

I same date as you. Waiting for a response on new claim and the wait is awful

scan date is 12 September

my daughter is almost 3 with diagnosis of ASD.

called yesterday to confirm is 2 more evidence letters sent separately arrived. One sent 2 weeks ago and one sent 1week ago.
none of then arrived. One of them is really good evidence stating that my daughter is mostly at 12-18 months level developmentlaly and 6-22 months social communication wise.

Lady said it wasn’t still with the DM so I could send more evidence. I told her it would be 13 weeks on Monday so it will be with DM very soon and she said it’s not exactly 13 weeks, it probably won’t be with dm till late next week

I called again today to ask for their address that’s not the free post one so I could use special delievery. Was told today that it’s already with DM.

I asked them if they could wait for the extra evidence before making the decision.

it was upsetting asking for a decision to be delayed after 3 long months of waiting but better like this as I think the missing letter increases our chances.

although my daughter is not even 3 I am expecting at least MRC but really hope I don’t have to fight for it.

I’m 7th September scan date. So 13 weeks today. Heard nothing so far

scan date 8 th september phoned monday not with dm phoned today was awarded yesterday no text but im over the moon

I sent in more evidence and they told me there scanning from 2nd November on which I hope doesn’t mean mine will be too late

Hi I have been following this thread for a long while now my forms were scanned through the 11th September and I was told I was awarded today hrc lrm I am over yhe moon with the outcome as this is what my son deserves please everyone keep your hopes up and I hope its not much longer for you all

Although i am happy people are getting awarded etc. and honestly great news guys. But all your scan dates are after mine and a few others on this forum. How does this work?? Minds boggled

Only took 25 minutes on hold..

With a decision maker so hopefully should hear soon (scan date was 7th September).

Just got off the phone! It really does depend who you speak to. I was told Monday it was with DM so would be any day now and today get told it could be weeks still.
More waiting. Fingers crossed for everyone.
Scan date 7th September.

This is why i have given up ringing. My scan date is also 7 september. Told by next week. Who knows?
