@Mummytogirls87 Ah gives me hope! I’ve sent the diagnoses from when he was 4, he’s 6 now and an up to date letter from clinician referring to cahms. Do not think it’s enough though x

Mummytogirls87 · 01/12/2022 19:24

@Lozzaaaaa i honestly thought my daughter was going to be declined cos I’d been reading all posts about Ehcps and my daughter doesn’t have one yet plus I didn’t get anyone to sign the ‘someone who knows your child’ part in the claim form the lady that phoned me this morning was lovely xx

Lozzaaaaa · 01/12/2022 19:36

@Mummytogirls87 Thats exactly the same as us! I am so happy for you and your daughter! Xx

Zacksmom91 · 01/12/2022 19:38

MyBoysxxx · 01/12/2022 21:04

@Momsboys7 I got a phone call off today at 4.10pm off an 0800 number just to ask a few more questions, my scan date is the 26th of August

Elle1978 · 02/12/2022 06:29

Hi all good luck for all still waiting. I'm still waiting from 18th August. Got told it was with a DM from 17th Nov. Called them yesterday to be told it's now with medical services. Now I don't kno it this is a good thing or not. They haven't ring to ask for additional evidence. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Tia

Anotherfedupmum · 02/12/2022 07:40

Hi guys new poster here..

Have been stalking the thread and the old ones for a while lol.

Forms were sent 23rd sep recorded supposed to be recieved 26th. They were misplaced. After ringing on the 28th Nov they have finally been found!! And will be looked at as if they were recieved in September.

Was told they were looking at the 5th sep on this phone call hope that helps someone.

Lozzaaaaa · 02/12/2022 08:56

Good luck everyone today X

Lozzaaaaa · 02/12/2022 10:37

@Mummytogirls87 Thank you! Xx

Bee2696 · 02/12/2022 10:55

Hi girls, posted a few days ago, just wanted to update, my claim was received on the 27th Oct, LRM & MRC was awarded on 28th November, my claim was backdated to 2nd November.
My son has undiagnosed ADHD, he's on a CAHMs waiting list. Evidence sent off was 2 Educational Psycologist reports (one from an old school one from his current)His speech and language report, his headteacher who is SENCO trained wrote a report too, I gave details for his Doctor, School and our Early Help support worker too incase they needed more information from them.
His claim needs to be renewed next October so they validated it for 12 months.
There are a few DMs working on different dates, I think some are working on catching up and some are going through more recent dates.

Currently speaking to UC regarding carers allowance Etc. Must say, this is far more confusing than the whole DLA process! Expecially since it seems to take ages for a response from them on your journal, I reported the change of circumstance outside of my assessment period but was told it was "special circumstances" and my UC would be adjusted from the date given.

I'm just pleased my sons challenges are recognised and he's receiving the support he deserves and needs.

Hoping everyone waiting hears some good news soon!

LucasMummy88 · 02/12/2022 11:03

@Bee2696 so you only had to wait a month for a decision? Wow, that’s lucky. My scan date is the 15th September & I don’t expect to hear anything for another couple of weeks x

Lozzaaaaa · 02/12/2022 11:19

@Bee2696 Wow that’s the quickest I have heard of, congratulations! X

MyBoysxxx · 02/12/2022 11:27

Has anyone ever appealed a decision? My son has been awarded today LRC LRM and I don’t agree with this at all?? X

SRog · 02/12/2022 12:21

So I called … again :o because I’m impatient haha I wonder if they log all my calls. I’ve been told it’s just gone to decision maker and they get through 9 a day so it could be looked at within the next 2-3 days, he said if I don’t hear anything via text call mid next week as some have the ability to send a text some don’t and all the text says is either I have been awarded or I haven’t so I’d have to call regardless. Scan date 5th September for reference

Wintersmummy96 · 02/12/2022 12:43

How long after a text saying there still looking at your claim did you hear back from them?

Bee2696 · 02/12/2022 13:10

I feel a bit bad because I know there's so many people who also deserve it, still waiting, the whole process feels very hit or miss and a little all over the place, it shouldn't be like that really. I just hope they're catching up because there still people waiting from August/September.

Fah66 · 02/12/2022 13:52

Currently on hold to them. Been waiting 45 minutes 🙄🙄

Tribaladventuremummy · 02/12/2022 14:03

I’ve had to do a MR for my daughter several times - it’s fairly easy just make sure you have the evidence to back up why you think care should be higher 🙂

Tribaladventuremummy · 02/12/2022 14:08

I’ve been waiting for them to pick up now for nearly an hour 🙄 Have some more reports to send but want to know if it’s been looked at yet before I send them!

Lozzaaaaa · 02/12/2022 15:26

Any good news today? X
