Checked bank this morning and had a lump sum. I’ve worked out it’s MRC LRM for my daughter. Scan date 24.08 award 28.11 payment 1.12

Looking at the timings i think I still have another week or so to wait, my scan date was the 5th Sept and I can’t see that they have started on September yet. I’m hoping I’ve sent enough evidence. The wait is awful, kicking myself for it sending the form sooner. Hope everyone who hears today gets the answer they want x

Just to give you an idea for those who’ve recently sent it off (for a first claim, not renewal). I posted it 15/11, I rang today to check the scan date which was 23/11 and advised it’s currently taking ‘at least’ 13 weeks to even get to a decision maker. The woman on the phone said not to expect anything before mid March.

Had a txt this morning saying my daughter qualifies scan date 6th September xx

@bagheera92 @Helen122 Im due to get my boys renewal pack soon, what does the form look like? Is it the same as the original form I would have done when he was awarded?

I’ve seen someone with scan date 1st September and they’ve had a decision x

The decision maker called me this morning to ask about my daughters night time routine I received a text about 40 mins later saying she qualifies. Our scan date is September 6th xx

@xxAmy the renewal form is similar cant remember the the first form properly but there was a question that said has the disability need changed which i think isnt on the first form. Anyone here got response from renewal form?

My scan date was the 2nd September, rung today to update that DS has now has a blue badge due to his heart(unable to claim mobility component as hes not 3 yet)

Told me is with decision maker and would receive a text with outcome, very anxious as he has heart condition(needs open heart surgery) and is under speech therapy, portage etc so hopefully enough evidence was sent.

New claim so glad the long wait is finally over my daughters been awarded HRC and LRM until 2027 still can’t believe it xx

They called me from an 0800 number not a witheld

It sounds like they picking and choosing which ones to deal with. People from before certain dates are still waiting. How is that fair

I agree fah66 I've seen people with 27th September being awarded we are 20th so it seems the whole system is just unfair in every way there's also people from August still waiting.

My sons scan date is the same rang yesterday and was told could be next week or week after so glad you got your decision now it’s a eager wait xxx

Just got off the phone from DLA office (new claim) they are working on 5th Sept scan dates at the moment so as our scan was 5th October we have about another month of waiting 🙁

@Mumof2Asd1 my scan date is oct 7th!

I rang them yesterday to see if there was any updates and was told it’s not been looked at yet so was really shocked when the decision maker phoned me this morning then got a text about 40 minutes later. Good luck I hope you hear something very soon xx

All I sent was a letter that confirms she’s been diagnosed with Autism and another letter from her Psychologist saying she’s been diagnosed with a learning disability xx
