Hi all been on here for a while but havant actually posted, my claim for my daughter was scanned on the 22nd of august
phoned of Friday last week and hadn’t been allocated to anyone to look at.
debating to phone again today or in the morning to see if any updates.

Mines been with a decision maker for 6 days and still nothing. I’m crapping it certain my LG is gonna be refused.

I called today. My claim has been declined. I have requested a mandatory reconsideration as I do not feel anything was taken into account and assumptions had been made incorrectly.

Just phoned my daughter was awarded on Monday HRC but no mobility as of her age but Throught you could get it for a 3 year old.

@Hollymumtothree they omly award mobility for 3 yo if they’re awarded high rate, low low rate mobility they have to be 5 x

Still no news for me - DS 23rd and DD claim 24 August. Have seen someone 22nd with a decision so hoping it’s soon

Scan date was August 11th. Rang yesterday and the lady said it’s been with a case manager since November 11th. She said it usually takes 2 weeks with a case manager (this Friday) but added, ‘unless there’s a complication, in which case it takes longer’.

It’s just so inconsistent!! Some people are saying it’s 1 day after going to a DM. I do think it’s who people get looking at the application and who people speak to on the phone !

Are new claims taking around 14 weeks would we say?

My scan date was October we 21st for my sons renewal and his claim is due to tend January 28th. I called today and the lady said they are finding that renewals are not being looked at until 1/2 weeks before they are she to end .

When I phoned this morning the lady told me new claims are now taking 12 and half weeks but who knows seems everyone is being told different xx

Morning all of anyone speaks with DLA today can you let me know the dates there working around please

Does anyone know how they pay the backpay? I know it's 3-5 working days but I thought I saw someone say they checked their bank in the afternoon and it had gone in?

Mine was scanned 26th August and is with a decision maker

Can I ask how long yours has been with the decision maker for ? My date is the 26th too

Do people always get a text when a decision is made?

Phoned again today and mine is still with a case manager scan date 22 august, lovely lady I spoke to said hopefully be next few days for a decision and not all case workers have access to text system

I haven’t phoned yet I’m 23/24 August
