Just been on phone I’ve now been assigned to a caseworker for a decision fingers crossed won’t be much longer scan date 22 august was up for Renewal in April but was u able to do forms due to Ill Health 🤞🏻

My boy is 8 years old, that may be a reason as to why. I could have claimed a long long time ago for him but I just didn’t know!!xxx

How long does decision normally take once with caseworker 😩🙈

@Lozzaaaaa I sent his ASD assessment report, diagnosis, SEND plans from over the years + up to date one, sleep diary, had a close TA to him fill in the professional part (she did an amazing job filling it in for me) and I’ll be honest I can’t remember the rest as it was back in august! I honestly didn’t think I would get much but I know he deserves it. Was expecting a fight x

my Scan date was 28th the application was declined on 1st November applied for a MR on the 2nd with help of a new cover letter my child was awarded MRC LRM Monday. Don’t give up everyone fingers crossed for good news for you all x

Did you send in any extra evidence and do the cover letter yourself?

only a new cover letter explaining a day with my DD and then I said I would take this to appeal if I had to.

Same they reviewed mine 29th Sept I think and the other day I had a letter apologising for the wait 🙄

I called today and a lady told me they never know what date they are up to. It really depends who you talk to doesn’t it

Scan date 26th September, I’m guessing I’m going to be waiting a while last time I rang I got told waiting times 13 weeks then 12 weeks then 13 weeks again so I’m guessing middle to end of December minus the bank holidays

My scan date is 12 September, I was told in the next 2 to 3 weeks it will be looked at.

@Gemma96x did you have to upload the letter from dla for uc?

Hi no I didn't but can can give ur child's reference number they can chase it on there system. But for some reason I'm not sure if my son will have his backdated from July with uc and they saying they will have someone else look and see whether he can have it back dated or not x

@Gemma96x thank you, I think they will give you it, maybe just so many people requesting backdated atm? X

Does anyone know how long it takes dla to deal with the cos iv updated everything and left messages on my journal but had no reply or acknowledgement
