I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

He got it for 2yrs he's 9 and will still be in the same school when it's time for renewal so that helps. Really hope you all get good news over the weekend. Xx

How long roughly are they taking to answer the phones does anyone know x

Have just got off the phone to them, they are looking at 3rd August at the moment. My scan date is the 16th August and he said I am looking at around the 15th November for a decision.

I'm 3rd Aug still nothing x

Hi all scan date 5th of August here. I've just got off the phone and he said it's just been allocated to a decision maker this week . Although he didn't give a day. I'm a bit apprehensive as I'm sure it's the same person that told me that around 3 weeks ago when I called but everyone else I spoke to after said it hadn't been allocated. Getting so nervous now. I only sent a supporting letter from my child's school with contact info on it for them to call. I'd even forgot to include the letter from the asd assesment unit to say that he was on the referral list. He was awarded dla when he was 4 but the asd assesment found that he didn't have autism as he had all traits but could keep eye contact. Now he is 11 and it is more apparent I was advised that he would probably get a different diagnosis. Im just hoping he gets the help he needs and the diagnosis he deserves.

I just rang to see if they received the extra evidence I posted last week and was told they had and it’s with a DM now should hear soon (5th Aug scan date)

We are the 9th August and I have just posted some last minute extra evidence in the post sent it 1st class recorded so hopefully it arrives tomorrow, good luck everyone I am so anxious I feel sick 🤢 xxx

Ahh my scan date is 12th September so feel like I’m not going to have an answer until after Christmas!😭 I have applied and been successful twice for my eldest but he had his first paediatrician letter to send as evidence and more the second time but my youngest is still on the waiting list to see his paediatrician so I had no evidence other than he’s on the waiting list but his needs are so much more than my eldests ever was. The anxiety is a lot! You guys are keeping me sane!

Just called 1st of August, been with decision maker since Monday and still no decision.

My scan date is the 6th of September feels like it’s taking forever 😩 all I sent in was a letter confirming my daughters autism diagnosis. She’s also been diagnosed with a learning disability but Im still waiting for her report to come through post.

Hi All, I rang on Monday and was told they were working on claims up to the 3rd August this week. My scan date is 5th August.. hoping I won't be waiting much longer x

Hi I’ve been watching this for a while but not posted! Does anyone know if they send texts at the weekend? I’m 3rd August!

I sent my first form off on the 3rd August. It got lost, my second form was scanned 11th September. The wait feels like forever.
