I'm a nanny, how do I tell my boss I'm pregnant?

I'm freaking out about this! My boss is not someone who I can approach. Working for them is stressful already and this is just going to be awful! What am I going to do?

I've done jobs exactly like that in London, Dorest, Cornwall, Wales and the Cotswolds.

I'm feeling so stressed, but it's so kind of you to ask. A family I used to work for has told me they must pay me redundancy. So I'm going to bring it up with them when I can. They are away tonight so hopefully tomorrow. But I think they are going to say no as the job has come to an end and that's just what happens in nanny roles

They still have to pay.

They do cannot simply say that the job has come to an end and not pay redundancy pay. Redundancy pay is a Statutory payment, which subject to eligibility, you are entitled to under law. If they refuse to pay you can take them to employment tribunal.

I'm going to write them an email and ask about redundancy pay and see what they say

Did they get back to you @Itsallwhite?
