I would love this job particularly the nights. I am tidy and very organised and bossy. I have extensive experience with children of all ages. I am not sure I would want to share care in the afternoons. My husband suggests that it would only work if I was in charge at all times. Please tell me your highgate address as I only like certain roads....not the tufnell park end. I suggest that in the afternoons you clean while I do the childcare. I would expect my own dressing room as well as a large comfortable bedroom with large ensuite bathroom. I would prefer 3 days on and 4 off per week. I can supply excellent references from my mother in law and my husband's aunt. If you are happy with my terms do let me know when you would like me to start.

LoisWilkerson1 · 08/10/2014 23:48

MarieSarah · 08/10/2014 23:48

It has to be a joke from someone that you know.

Pleaaaase, interview her Grin

shesawseashellsontheseashore · 08/10/2014 23:51

I can imagine that being said in a Nigerian accent...

Sorry, don't mean to be racist or owt...

OldLadyKnowsSomething · 08/10/2014 23:51

I don't know how to bookmark on the app, but if others are using a browser, hover your mouse/touch the screen at the bottom right of the last post you've read, and a wee blue rectangle appears which reads "Bookmark". Click/press and it changes to "saving" then "saved". Maybe ask in site stuff re the app?

HeeHiles · 08/10/2014 23:53

Arrange the interview in a neutral place - I would be worried someone with that tone knowing my address!

And ask her to bring the references with her!

HeeHiles · 08/10/2014 23:54

Ooh and pretend to be uber rich living in the Village Grin

MarieSarah · 08/10/2014 23:58

plumnc · 09/10/2014 07:20

To bookmark on mobile site, touch the three dots bottom right in each post and the world is your oyster.

OP you must get her references pleeeeease!

PurpleAlert · 09/10/2014 07:43

On the regular site on an I pad touch the space on the bottom right hand corner of the last post and a bookmark sign pops up.

BranchingOut · 09/10/2014 07:49

That is hilarious.
I did once interview a nanny who expected me to pay £10 per day for her parking (I lived in inner London in a highly restricted residents' zone with no permits available) as she wasn't willing to take the bus - there was no requirement to drive for the job and she lived a couple of miles away on a direct route. There was a bus stop for anywhere she would need to go with DS almost directly behind the house. No harm in her asking, but it was the air of disgruntled entitlement that came off her when we said that we were not planning to pay for (completely unnecessary) parking that was so shocking - she wasn't even a particularly good candidate.

On the other hand, a nanny who had previously worked for a super-famous celebrity couldn't have been politer in her emails and enquiries. I never got to meet her as she was quickly snapped up!

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/10/2014 14:03

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 09/10/2014 16:22

@ not the Tufnell Park end.

Please send me your Highgate address as I only like certain roads...

I am killing myself laughing here!

My bet is that her DH or someone answered your ad on her behalf just to wind her up or something - OP you must ring her and update us!

HappierThanEverBefore · 09/10/2014 22:40

Place markingGrin

tippytappywriter · 09/10/2014 22:47

Is her husband moving in too???

Seafoam · 10/10/2014 08:01

Hilarious! Her husband dictating roles, she's telling you to clean your house and she's managed to insult the area you live in- all whilst demanding a large bedroom and dressing room'

She's a keeper. I bet she's an older lady.

Seafoam · 10/10/2014 08:04

And ask her to bring the references with her

Make sure you specify written. . Otherwise you may have her husbands aunt and mother with you for a cosy interview

Seriouslyffs · 10/10/2014 08:10
