But if I am it's probably going to be very slow!

Having got to sleep at 12.30am (ish) last night I woke up at 2.30 and have been up ever since! I think I might have been woken up by a contraction.

Anyway, next one wasn't until 3.45am, then they came at half hourly intervals until about 7am, but haven't had any since... however I am feeling a great deal of pressure in my pelvic area.... here's hoping!

And what a fine Scottish name you've given the lad.

I take it all is well??????

Miaou · 01/08/2005 13:04

That was in Fort William.

But as the placenta had not put in an appearance by 4.30am they decided that we had to make a short trip to Inverness.

We left by ambulance at 5.35am, and arrived in Inverness at 7.05am.

By 7.20am the placenta and Miaou had parted company, and at 8.04am we set off back to Inverness!

Is there anything else I need to tell you, or can you wait until Miaou comes home tomorrow?

I've been a regular on mumsnet for quite some time, under my own nickname, but can't tell you what that is.

I'm off to bed after I've told all the people that need to know.
