Been getting pains all evening, just been to loo and wiped and there was bloody discharge (aware could be because of internal) - Consultant was convinced I would be going soon when he did internal today - I am praying that tonight is the night as I am fed up!

Did anyone else have bloody discharge (not a show) pre-labour?

another vote for tv and snack food to keep the older 2 busy until things have settled down a bit.

i know it's frowned upon but once bf is established i swear by a dummy for a sucky baby..... if i hadn't had one for dd she would happily have fed 24/7!

Congratulations pgwith3 (you need a name change now). Love the name, it is beautiful.

Hope you feel better soon.

Sending cups of tea and chocolate cake your way to cheer you up.

PinkTulips you still here?! How you feeling?

I'm loads better today, not weepy anymore. Mum's here doing ironing and DH is mopping whilst I'm breast feeding! Although I have stripped beds and hoovered whole house before. Needed to have a clean.

Just to add that I trimmed down below the morning DD3 arrived so the theory is right, you won't go into labour until you have trimmed!

bugger... blades for my razor, that's what i forgot to buy today!

still here... aching and twinging but have given up hope of anything happening, although it would be handy if i went tonight as dp has a friend round who could mind the kids and save us having to inflict my mother on the poor little things

glad you're feeling better today pgw3, sounds like you just got the 3 day blues a bit early. funnily enough i turn into a neat freak and do loads of cleaning after i have a baby too... think it's something to do with finally being able to move more easily and being on an adrenalin high!

hope your mom and dh are supplying you with mountains of tea and cake to keep your energy up

Hi songbird - sorry been offline as laptop been on the blink.

All good here, DD3 an angel, feeds well, sleeps well, not windy (yet) or sicky (yet!), doesn't hardly cry so very very lucky (so far!). Birth was great, no stitches and over in an hour from arriving at the hospital! It was close as was still posting on here 1.5 hours before she was born.

Will add some pics to my profile in a bit.
