Can I join in? Does 39+3 days qualify? This is my second baby, 1st 6 years ago so very blurry memories. Baby also above 97th centile so going overdue is really scary!!

fitnfortyone · 17/04/2008 23:14

VS 39cm! thought my LO was big enough at 37cm but since he was deflexed he wouldn't have fitted anything but the sunroof anyway...

And Scorpio, having hot nekkid loving is all very well, but don't think licking lulumama's arse will move things along

Hello nosnikrap, anyone can join in, just be prepared to hang around for another 2+ weeks before you drop as we all like going overdue on these threads.

ImightbeLulumama · 18/04/2008 06:53

hello nosnirap!

you need to get familiar with positions to open up your pelvis !
this is the thread of big babies!
WELCOME!
hope you don;t wait too long to meet your little one

ImightbeLulumama · 18/04/2008 06:57

it all helps, fnf!!

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 18/04/2008 07:41

Hello nosnikrap. Welcome to the "OMG get this baby out of me" thread

we have a choice today ladies... bacon or sausage?

VS: Lovely to see you're OUT! Will go off and look for birth announcement. In the meantime, congrats, well done, fab name, HUGE size, nice fanjo...

Scorpio... 23? You come across in your posts as so much more mature than a mere 23

ruty · 18/04/2008 08:06

Hi VS! how long did you stay in then? Glad it went well. My c section booked for 39 weeks, would rather wait until 40.
[Just out of interest Lulumam, also have baby currently off the growth chart, how do you open up your pelvis?]

nosnikrap · 18/04/2008 08:34

yeah lets hear it lulumam, what indignities await us? will we have our feet round our heads?

Hey ruty, Do you think the powers that be are just trying to scare us? My DS was 9lb 2 so surely a pound or so more won't be too bad? ? ? ? ........surely, all this talk about flappy fanjos has got me nervous!

nosnikrap · 18/04/2008 08:35

wonders if there is a plan from the pru to save for a designer vagina!

VictorianSqualor · 18/04/2008 08:55

pics on profile, he eneds feeding so will do my birth story later.

ds was 91bs 14 oz but came out in an emergency c section nosnikrap so you've got a head start on me!
[off to look at VS's baby pics]

ruty · 18/04/2008 08:59

lovely boy!

nosnikrap · 18/04/2008 09:07

VS he is so cute, congratulations! I can't wait to have my baby, looking at other babies makes me cry!

Hope mine isn't 10lb + though, no C Section for me, my fanjo is too flappy to need it..........apparently!

Ruty, are you hoping for VBAC this time? or will it be C section? I wanted a home birth but got talked out of it.

BraceYourselfMavis · 18/04/2008 09:08

Beautiful boy!

DonDons · 18/04/2008 09:19

VS he is gorgeous! Congratulations

Hope you are okay this morning Scorpio - no way are you 23!

Sausage for me please - may as well start the day as I intend to end it - fner fner - DH promised me 'a good tupping' tonight

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 18/04/2008 09:21

oh yes, still here, lol!

am resigned to wednesday now . Yes Squonk i am 23 although i was born 25, or so my mum says!

I was a bit crampy last night and feel very heavy today, but nothing. I am tired today; although this is the last day i have to do 'stuff' - DH is having time off from this weekend, so he can do school runs etc next week.

VS - lovely boy; so gorgeous!!!

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 18/04/2008 09:25

VS - he is beautiful. As are your older ones

BetsyBoop · 18/04/2008 09:26

Glad you had a better birth experience this time round VS

My DS (10lb10oz) had a 39.5cm head, so in hind sight I guess I was pretty glad not to get my VBAC too

The MW said if I had managed a VBAC I would have probably ended up in theatre anyway to repair my fanjo , so I think things are the way they are for a reason sometimes ?

Just looked at the piccies, he is gorgeous!

Take things easy & let everyone run round after you

DonDons · 18/04/2008 09:27

sorry you're still here IYKWIM. Glad you can get some rest tomorrow...

had a crappy night myself - woke up (well half woke up) and felt all crampy - thought, oh, bet my period is coming then woke up properly and thought 'oh shit - is this it?'. 10 minutes later starting wanting to vom, cramping feeling carried on for a bit, then fell back asleep.

Woke up this morning - nada.

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 18/04/2008 09:34

i know, its a bitch isnt it?? I was crampy last ight and thought ooh i have had a sweep, i am nearly 41 weeks, this must be something.....and i woke up at 7am.

I am 41 weeks today. it is hard to walk, eat, have sex, get up, sit down, putting up with people frigging smirking at me 'oooh you havent had it yet then'..... Yes, i look like this all the time dontchaknow.

DonDons · 18/04/2008 09:36

not to mention the farking phone ringing every 5 minutes....'did you have the baby yet?'

yes mum/dad/sister/next door neighbours postman's aunt, I had the baby last week and forgot to let any of you know . She's off down the pub with her Dad aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 18/04/2008 09:37

yeah, i left her at home alone to do the school run. oh my bump? yeah the baby fat still there, lol.

you bunch of pricks.

Now they insist on telling me about the horrors of induction. i have now taken to walking in school with head to floor!

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 18/04/2008 09:40

my friend is bringing her baby round in a sec, born on Monday can't wait to see baby

DonDons · 18/04/2008 09:41

have literally PMSL a 'bunch of pricks'.

for what it is worth, my friend had her 3rd baby on Wednesday, was 12 days late, she was induced and she said it all went very quickly and smoothly and she is absolutely fine - back at home within hours. Baby was just over 8lbs - which is big for her as she is only 5'2 and normally a teeny size 6/8.

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 18/04/2008 09:44

oh thats ok then - i am normally a 6/8 but im 5'9...Jamie (ds2) was 8lb 1oz, i reckon Millie must be at least that now...
