Darling girls. You've really got to stop obsessing about your EDD. You are not overdue until 42+1. You WILL go into labour naturally.

Why not book a nice relaxing spa treatment? That'll do it!

EllieG · 13/04/2008 09:54

Are you taking evening primrose oil scorpio? I got some yesterday and shoved some up me fanjo last night - didn't make any difference mind, but I live in hope.

scorpio1 · 13/04/2008 09:56

no, not taking EPO, bit weary of it tbh, and if its for cervix then no issues there - MW can already get 2 fingers in there and its soft, etc etc.

They induce here at T+12, which for me is a week Wedsnesday.

scorpio1 · 13/04/2008 09:57

VS isn't here, or anywhere I can see - so maybe.....

VictorianSqualor · 13/04/2008 10:35

VS is here.
I've decided it's not coming, we are now aware of this and I shall be changing my bag tonight to my CS stuff instead of normal labour stuff.
Fucking thing.
However, I am consoling myself I will never have had tears and rips and stuff down there that's about as good as it gets in positive thinking!

OracleInaCoracle · 13/04/2008 10:37

oh vs, im sorry. but as you say, at least you shall maintain a pristine fanny. there is still time you know...

EllieG · 13/04/2008 10:40

And at least you won't have a fanny like a windsock

scorpio1 · 13/04/2008 12:20

Tis my family bucket size fanjo, my lovely

VictorianSqualor · 13/04/2008 12:21

Did someone mention KFC?

scorpio1 · 13/04/2008 12:24

am seriously hoping it will stretch again this time, lol . i wonder if Millie will be much bigger than Jamie (ds2) was, especially as she has been in there a week longer? he was 8lb 1oz.

lulumama · 13/04/2008 13:46

my friends boiler broke down when she was almost 40 weeks pregnant and she was booked for home birth... she had baths at mine for a week before the baby was born. i lit all the candles, had some clary sage in the burner, small glass of red wine, and then we'd lie on the sofa and chat... DD was only 12 weeks old so i was in the baby zone! it was a lot of fun.

scorpio1 · 13/04/2008 13:47

boiler is ok now, they fixed it

scorpio1 · 13/04/2008 13:48

where do you get this clary sage oil from?

TLSM · 13/04/2008 14:02

VS Thats the way to think of it nice intact fanjo

Scorpio I got mine from Holland and barrett was £7.49p I put it with some lavender oil and rubbed it all over my belly then I also had a bath with it in - did nothing for me yesterday but will add it to my daily list of RL tablets, EPO tablets, black cahosh and the pineapple breakfast!!! I bought a better breast pump today so will try that again tonight with the warm compress on the boobs!

It does feel very odd carrying this one longer than the last I too worry he will be loads bigger (although at the moment only 1 day bigger)

All I can say is if he is late i think I will at least have tested all the remeadies!

ruty · 13/04/2008 14:05

for a moment there i thought you were saying you got a nice intact fanjo from Holland and Barratt...
