lol Don, maybe your cat knows something you don't?!

VictorianSqualor · 12/04/2008 11:00

Couple of people on my antenatal thread had their cats go mental before labour.
My cat is pg too so can't tell if she is mad or hormonal

RustyBear · 12/04/2008 11:35

Hi everyone -I'm just posting now to get thison my threads, so I don't keep losing it.

I've been lurking on this thread and it's predecessor for ages, checking in each morning to see if anyone's popped yet. So congratulations to all those who have & good luck to those who haven't

ally90 · 12/04/2008 11:46

Hi VS, Hope baby comes soon and all goes well xx

lulumama · 12/04/2008 11:50

donddon, my sympathies! but you have your sense of humour! go and watch a funny film and relax.

VictorianSqualor · 12/04/2008 11:52

Thanks Ally.

scorpio1 · 12/04/2008 14:34

just checking in. 40+1 today. Have done sex and RL tablets and a walk today. Going out tonight

smellyeli · 12/04/2008 14:44

40 + 8 today.

DH has tonsillitis, DS has fever and 'achey head' - really could do with them both recovering before D-day, but have period pains and pain in bottom which BF informs me is definite sign of impending action - apparently she spent most of her second labour on the loo with bottom pain, convinced she was giving birth to a big stool...... Sorry, TMI.

Shall just have to dose the boys up with hard drugs and CBeebies and hope for the best. Have stopped answering the phone, and am trying to ignore the pineapple in the kitchen which I bought yesterday before the men in the house were rendered incapable of any self-care......

scorpio1 · 12/04/2008 14:45

i think i am going to break my phone....

VictorianSqualor · 12/04/2008 14:47

I just turned my mobile on, it's been off for three days, and I hasd messages congratulating me about the birth and saying hope we were well.
Wondered wtf? Then realised it was from me rearranging my CSection and not telling people

scorpio1 · 12/04/2008 14:49

lol would have been nice if you had given birth and not noticed, like my plan of waking up and she is in the bed with me

No 'signs' here, but i fucking hate it when people say 'oooooh any signs' to me at school

Yes i'll give you a sign in a minute [grr]

VictorianSqualor · 12/04/2008 17:47

That is how it's going to happen Scorpio! It IS

lulumama · 12/04/2008 18:27

i am sooooooooooooooo bored now !

can you entertain me whilst i wait, am bored of knitting, of baking, of cleaning.

VictorianSqualor · 12/04/2008 18:29

Lol, I know what you mean about boredom!
I've been trying to arrange a breastfeeding calendar, photographers, models, printers etc to keep my mind busy!
Also went for a nice long walk and cleaned my house.

MarsLady · 12/04/2008 18:40

MOM get a wide toothed comb and gently comb your breast. I hope the ABs are working now. Lots of fluids and lots of rest!

VictorianSqualor · 12/04/2008 18:52

Mars, I've been told you have to give me encouragement, apparently you're good at getting babies out, so come on then, perform your magic

chaoskay · 12/04/2008 19:25

Hope you don't mind me joining you? Am I right in assuming this thread is for mums-in-waiting? I'm 39 weeks and impatient as hell!

lulumama · 12/04/2008 21:26

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 12/04/2008 21:28

NO WAY!

He is already in love with LDC, if I were to introduce the originator of the famous cake, I may never see him again!

(actually.... )

lulumama · 12/04/2008 21:33

i heart mars

she is one of the kindest most good hearted and generous people i have 'met', i hope to meet her for real very soon

PuhPeng · 12/04/2008 21:36

Right. I'm ready.
The cot is set up.
The carseat is fitted.
My TENS machine pads have arrived.
I'm good to go.

All I need now is for VS and Scorpio and all you other lollygaggers to hurry up and have your babies so it will be my turn.

Mmmkay?
