lulumama · 08/04/2008 20:23

good

fitnfortyone · 08/04/2008 21:03

scorpio, look after yourself and LO!

VS hope the vomit is a good sign, I had that when i had my 3rd sweep and the m/w was most irritated that i wasn't eating anything to keep my strength up...that's cos as soon as i tried to eat it came back up again with loads of bile and damn well hurt! But then, they also said the sweep would give mild cramping, but i ended up with contractions and a back2back/deflexed bubba...

Fuzzypants - having a tidy up is something i thought of doing then thought "nah, noone will be bothered". Then ended up with emcs and having it shaved Now suffering stubble regrowth, ew!

lulumama · 09/04/2008 09:13

morning, ! how is everyone today

CeylonSapphire · 09/04/2008 09:18

Morning all,
Scorpio - what's news? Have been thinking about you.

And VS? Any news yet?

I'm still sitting tight. Tried another long walk yesterday, and a curry last night. No joy. Just made my 41 wk appt with the hospital for Fri AM. Even the hospital joked that 'we hope we don't see you'.

Am booked in for a pregnancy massage this afternoon as a treat to keep me going this week - hopefully this will allow an hour of relaxation to chill, and kick start everything. Will report back later.

lulumama · 09/04/2008 09:20

massage sounds lovely idea, ceylon

DonDons · 09/04/2008 09:24

morning all

did anybody see 'Dawn gets a baby' last night? Showed 2 water births and was amazing!

paranoidmummy · 09/04/2008 09:29

can i join you all? I'm hoping all the positive mindsets from you lovely ladies will get this child out!!!

i have spoken to my midwife and they are happy to let me go by only my nhs scan dates rather than worrying about all the other millions i've been given that takes a bit of the pressure off.

can i ask how accurate fundal height measurements are? is being much over anything to be concerned about?

lulumama · 09/04/2008 09:39

have seen it before dondons, i found her a tiny bit irritating, but the births were fantastic to see ! so normal, and i like the male midwife, he was very laidback and seemed to instill total confidence didn't he?

paranoidmummy, fundal height, palpation and even scanning are not always accurate.. lots of women told they are having a massive baby, and they have a 7 lb-er!

i measured bigger , had a scan, baby born at 40 weeks weighing 7 lb 8, smaller than my first baby.

DonDons · 09/04/2008 09:41

he was vary calm indeed - made me feel alot better about the impending birth - I only saw the last 20 minutes but can see what you mean!

VictorianSqualor · 09/04/2008 10:11

pm, my fundal heaight is 48cm
Need I say more?

scorpio1 · 09/04/2008 10:31

just back from MW, all fine, no bleeding today, she said if anymore today i will have to go in for monitoring. I will ring ASAP if it does happen.

MW can only feel her shoulders!!! Head is so far down.

ruty · 09/04/2008 10:49

glad no more bleeding scorpio. Looks like you may not have to wait too long! Hope all goes well.

VeraSquonkTheBeerGuru · 09/04/2008 10:51

fwiw, I reckon Scorpio will be next

bacon buttie anyone?

sorry I'm late - dd2 started back at nursery and then I took ds to the docs re: his night-time coughing.

TheMaskedPoster · 09/04/2008 10:57
