Following on from Angua's thread as that's nigh on fuill and she has her lovely baby.....

Am 41 weeks tomorrow and VS is on a deadline for her VABC- help! LOL

Ugh, size was one of the things they said to me last time (at NGH), baby was 8lb 7.5oz at 39weeks, I could've pushed that out!!!

I just got a call from the mw who said cons was happy to rearrange and I'm booked in for the 15th instead now.

Ds was 9lbs 14 oz and most definitely stuck last time, hence emergency c section, and they say this one is on line to be the same, so i'm kind of wincing at the prospect tbh. I just want to avoid an emergency c section again, particularly in the middle of the night!
Lots of positive vibes for you though and can't wait to hear what happens!

i have had bleeding again tonight but has stopped now.

bleeding? tell me more... ? fresh gushing or a bit when you wipe

if any gushing, you get straight to labour ward now!

not gushing, but more than when i wipe, bright red with some darker clots in, but clots (about 3) about 5p size. Crampy tummy, but calming down now, no clot for more than an hour, have a pad on but not full iyswim.

had this a week ago and it all stopped. Have MW at 9.45am tomorrow so will tell her unless more and then i will ring on call one.

have you spoken to your midwife, scorpio?

is it mucousy, like a bloody show, or just blood?

just blood, have lost all show last week. Has more or less stopped now and cramping has stopped, baby very active. Have not rung her.

dunno, crampy tummy, clots and bleeding does not sound great, i would call.. is it something to do with the placental lakes?

fwiw, scorpio, I would call too.

i'm not sure lulu, in early pg they said dont be surprised if i do bleed. They arent bothered about them, they are letting me have HB so must be OK iyswim.

I am taking it easy tonight and DH is here so i think i will wait until tomorrow, MW wasnt concerned last week.

It won't do any harm to ring the MW and tell her about the bleeding (and the clots) she may well tell you to come in tomorrow as planned, but they might want you to go in now.

It's worth making the call at least.

have just been to the toilet for wee and had red blood still when wipe....think i may call actually, DH has popped out so will wait until he gets in (10 mins max) and see again then?

you must call if you are having fresh red blood now.
