Last few days (about 4 days now) been achey like period pain. Sometimes much more intense then easing off. Reckons on BH's.. however yesterday and today I have had some quite bad pains on RHS of bump like a really bad stitch, so bad cant walk. I have also had upset tummy.

I have still been getting period like pains low down when relaxing but no real regularity to them. Feel quite icky, but desperate to go and look at poss new car as if this is it, need car sorted!

Have had no show, waters not broken (unless the wet undies are slowly leaking waters, although i doubt it

This isnt my first so feel stupid not knowing. Mw will call me later.

I was also measuring perfect for dates, but i got the old tape measure out last night and instead of measuring 35/36 am measuring about 40/41.

Do i call dp in Japan to let him know??

Oh Awen. Lets hope it all either stops completely for about 3 weeks, or gets going properly!

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 03/12/2007 08:38

Sounds very frustrating (and painful!).

Hope it happens soon. Sounds like he will be a good weight.

slim22 · 03/12/2007 09:15

Thinking of you. Hope you get enough sleep.
Take care.

madmouse · 03/12/2007 13:09

Amani · 03/12/2007 18:07

Hiya hun,
Sounds painful, but hang in there. Just keep focussing on the fact that you will have a baby in your arms very soon.

Thanks for messages. Still here and pregnant. 36 weeks today so reassured that LO is going to be all ok. Still having every 3 min tightenings. Managing by paracetamol, baths, relaxing and trying hard not to stress. Decided to keep out of hosptial as long as possible as dont want to be stuck in a bed on monitors, getting no sleep and having crap food. Remeber all too well with ds1 how horrid it was being in for so long and ending up with section as too tired.

Feeling more with it as made a decision. Have mw appointment tomorrow so she can check all is well.

LO seems fine and still feeling movements which is reassuring.

Am gong to try and post on antenatal thread. I am so sorry i am so crap atm in keeping up with everyone.

In the back of my mind i am hoping that these contractions are actually doing something now as they bloody hurt.

Awen, not sure if you'll go back to Jan's thread tonight, so if you don't just wanted to send you some positive vibes, and say i'm thinking about you all, ds and dp too. Hope it all happens for you quickly, or that you get a good rest for a while so that you're up for it when it all truly gets going. ((((((((((BIG HUG for wee Awen))))))) lolo x

susiemj · 04/12/2007 10:35

Good to hear your news, Awen and to hear you so positive in an exhausting situation. Lots of cyber hugs from me too.

MamaMaiasaura · 04/12/2007 12:26

MamaMaiasaura · 04/12/2007 20:51

thanks lm. Mw gave lots of reassurance to me. Said i was basically doing what i should. Shesuggested i have lots of raspberry leaf tea and fresh pineapple. Baby is well down 3/5. She thinks unlikely i'll go term either. She supported me staying at home as long as poss, keeping active etc.

Awen - Am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes to plan for you and MW continues to be helpful.

weewishyouamerryonion · 05/12/2007 00:36

awen - glad to hear mw was reassuring and that your body dos seem to be doing a good job [ smile]

get that raspberry leaf tea in you. by the end of my pg-- i was drinking nothing else (hot, cold, in ice cube form etc etc) and i think it led to a quicker 2nd stage?

rest up - you must be knackered and let us know progress. x

IsawSusiekissingSantaClaus · 05/12/2007 12:00

Hope you're managing to get some rest Awen. Sounds like you're doing a brilliant job.
p.s. this is susiemj - Jan 2008ers are getting festive on new thread here

Everything seemed to quiet down last night, till about 1am then was awake alot with pains, but managing to sleep through some as well so certainly not too bad. Wondering if this is going to be like this for weeks. Being philosophical and that he will be here but if it takes him a while it doesnt really matter. LO had hiccups earlier, very sweet. I guess it would help if i paced etc but am soooo tired tho, and all wobbly. Blood pressure was a little low yesterday 100/55 which is prob why i feel all weak.

Getting on with as much as i can too as that way i am not focusing so much on all of this and time will pass.
