ok...... are these signs of labour??

Last few days (about 4 days now) been achey like period pain. Sometimes much more intense then easing off. Reckons on BH's.. however yesterday and today I have had some quite bad pains on RHS of bump like a really bad stitch, so bad cant walk. I have also had upset tummy.

I have still been getting period like pains low down when relaxing but no real regularity to them. Feel quite icky, but desperate to go and look at poss new car as if this is it, need car sorted!

Have had no show, waters not broken (unless the wet undies are slowly leaking waters, although i doubt it

This isnt my first so feel stupid not knowing. Mw will call me later.

I was also measuring perfect for dates, but i got the old tape measure out last night and instead of measuring 35/36 am measuring about 40/41.

Do i call dp in Japan to let him know??

Good morning Awen. I was thinking about you last night. How are things? Any chance of dp or granny letting us know? ealy hope your all ok and baby is ok. to you all

Been allowed out of hospital for now. Had a bit of a strop. Still contracting, cervix moved down and is thinning out, though not yet dilated. Had no sleep since 3am Friday morning, am shattered, continually contracting but not moving fast.. having one now. They have done loads of tracking, baby is fine and very active. Contractions fairly regular from 2 in 10 to 4 in 10. Not strong enough for me to need gas and air tho (really holding off for the big one). Am so tired today and not rested as miss home etc. Consultant agreed to letting me home on the provision if lots more painful, show, bleed, changes must return. Am due back there tonight for final injection of steriod. Thought it was only the 2 injections but actually 4 over 48 hours. They arent going to try and slow it down.

Pead talked to my about scubu.. i bawled eyes out. Said that lo may have problems with blood sugar and keeping warm hence special care. Not a certainity tho. She was quite abrupt.

Have had some lovely midwifes tho

Planning on lovely baths, lounging with family and monitoring contractions. Have to take bag up to hospital tonight in case they keep me in.

DP got earlier flight (cost his co nearly 4k!) and now out of hosp he is worried they will be pissed, but as i said to him I am officially in pre term labour, hope it does stop but not likely. So glad to have him home and he is glad to be here. Have my family around me and ds1 is glad i am out of hosptial as he was very upset being apart from me.

Mum has been great except for when i have internal then she 'gazes' into my eyes to avoid looking there. Very off putting and acutally said mum, please dont gaze in my eyes when the drs busy down there

She has been a star tho.

Am going to pop onto antenal thread to let everyone know have updated here. Will update more when i know, but hurting too much and too tired.

AWEN - Thankgod everything is ok!!

Keep us updated as much as you can but understand you're knackered.

I wouldn't worry about the SCUBU - I would have thought the baby will be abso fine.

Glad DP got back in time and will keep an eye on here to check you is ok.

every day baby is in utero is a bonus, 37 weeks considered full term , so hopefully, all will be well .
