What did you wear in labour?

Was it what you'd packed/planned to wear?

A plain white t shirt.
It did not stay white for long!

Sleeveless cotton nightie from m&s with a few buttons in the chest area for immediate access to boob

I was naked within about 15 mins! It all happened rather quickly.

Absolutely nothing. As soon as labour began for both, I really struggled to have anything on my skin (aside from water water). I had plans of wearing shorts and a vest with my first but that all came off as soon as I realised my mucous plug was gone.
With my second, I had to wear a dress for the drive into the birth centre but immediately stripped off as soon as I was in my birthing room. I was mostly naked at home after I’d realised I was in labour.

I packed a few different things so I had options, although I took a bikini top as I planned to labour in the pool, only to be told not long after I arrived at the MLU that because I had a growth scan booked I was suddenly classed as high risk and had to move to delivery suite and have continious monitoring. So that ruined that plan Hmm.

When I got to hospital on MLU I was only 3cm and they kept me there alone in a room with DH For around 6hrs with no pain relief although I guess that's sort of a different story, so I was on the bed contorting into different positions and pacing around and leaning on DH etc for hours with awful pain, I was wearing my bra and t-shirt that I went in with and my knickers. Once I finally got rexamined again I had to be moved to delivery suite and I had diamorphine then which mostly knocked me out so I didn't even bother putitng my knickers back on, they put a sheet over my bottom half when they moved me. Once I got comfy on the bed at delivery suite I took my t-shirt and bra off and put a loose-fitting PJ vest top on and just kept sheets over me and my bottom half. But I didn't move off the bed at delivery suite as the diamorphine knocked me out and I had to have continious monitoring, the only time I got off of the bed was briefly to do a wee at the suggestion of the midwife so try and avoid needing to be catheterised.
