What pain relief did you go for and recommend?

What pain relief did you opt for, would you recommend it and opt again?

Not long to go until labour and I’m a bit nervous. I have put in labour plan I’m open to anything.

Labour went fast with baby no.2 and only got G&A and it’s scared me for this time.

G&A all the way

Gas and air is great as long as you take nice deep breaths. I didn't use it properly until being stitched up and was happy as a clam.

Pethadin was the worst thing ever. I felt like I was locked in and it was horrific. They also didn't believe my labour was progressing quickly and gave it to me and I then had to give birth in this horrible addled brain fog as I had only had it 1.5 hours before she was crowning.

I would never ever ever touch pethadin again.
