I am awaiting the arrival of dc3, but with both of the other two the labour started in the night. Is that the most common time?

Pains started 3pm on the Thursday, had him at 5.18pm (26 hours later!!!!!!!!) on the Friday

MerryMarigold · 31/03/2007 16:46

not sure what 'labour' means...my waters broke at 3.00am on the wed night, proper 'pains' started about 6pm on thursday.

bozza · 31/03/2007 20:10

Sarah couldn't you defer him if you are not happy or will that cause more problems? Not doing Mile for Maude because it is DD's birthday. I really don't see how they could fit another classroom into our primary. People have said they could move reception into nursery but then what happens to nursery?

hunkermunker · 31/03/2007 20:13

3.30am with DS1.

5.30am with DS2.

pinkchampagne · 31/03/2007 20:31

Around 4.30am with DS1, but hard to tell exactually when labour started with DS2 because I had been uncomfortable throughout the night, but wasn't sure it was the start of labour. By early morning I was pretty sure though!

sarahhal · 31/03/2007 22:14

He's only 18 months at mo so not such a prob but maybe would look to doing that if I really felt he was too young.

Have been waiting for DS1's admission letter but nothing! Then I had a brainwave that I had applied online and wondered if there was any info on line - hurrah, he's got a place at our village school. TBH there would have been something very wrong if he didn't as we must be one of the nearest houses to school in the whole village! Lots of our village tho' didn't get middle school places at usual one (yours and where mine should go!) so have been allocated to the other ( where I work!!!!)

Sorry time of labour people, I'm sure you are not really bothered about education in Kirklees

berolina · 31/03/2007 22:21

First contractions around midday, proper labour kicked off (agony and vomiting - nice) at around 3am 1 1/2 days later.

jellybellynally · 31/03/2007 22:23

franca70 · 31/03/2007 22:30
