Good morning everyone!!

I had great dreams last night, weird but great. Woke up and watched sesame street with ds. Today I am seriously going to clean and Christmas up my house. Hopefully my mom will come and take ds for the day or else I will accomplish nothing.

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 16:56

LMAO at the sword That did make me chuckle

Morning MKG

Well I have spent the last few hours walking around shops and carparks, feeling absolutely shattered, lost some more of my show though so it might have done something, feeling a bit uncomfortable but then who isn't at 9 and half pregnant?!!

lulumama · 03/12/2006 17:07

did you manage to get into the van ook NJ>>>

i do so love sesame street , MKG, is elmo still in and the snufflupagus?

OP posts:
largevirginbirthandtonic · 03/12/2006 17:10

LOL...

Glad you ache NJ, in a good way obviously! Not that im getting excited or anything....

MKG how nice to have good dreams, mine have been bloody weird most of the time, lots of walking through doors to find myself in another place entirely! Good luck with the decorating.

lulumama · 03/12/2006 17:13

good job my DH doens;t wear a uniform...i;d never stay upright!

eeeeek! LOL

your dream LVB&GT......this pregnancy is taking you to another place, another part of your lives ......things always change when a LO arrives........your subconcious is preparing you for that......

OP posts:
largevirginbirthandtonic · 03/12/2006 17:14

Ooooh do you read dreams lulu, how brilliant. Im sure MKG posted one on our may thread the other day to be interpreted...it was bloody weird though nobody could. Was it you MKG?

lulumama · 03/12/2006 17:20

not really.......!!! i really beleive in the power of the mind, the subconcious and the ability to let go and get the answers you need from withing........and i think that our dreams, although symbolic on one level,.,..are also obivious on others.....and just need to look at them.

i used to 'call up' my grandpa when i had a lot of problems to deal with, and he used to talk to me in my dreams and tell me how to deal with them. he was deceased..so whether it was truly his spirit or just my subconcious in the guise of him, it doens;t matter......

anyhoo...i used to keep a deam diary..and esp when i had PND, i had the most vivid, lucid dreams of my life...so i used to write them down and then look back at them,..mostly,they were about masks,,,wearing masks ie putting on a happy face, so people didnl;t know how bad i felt...etc.....stuff like that.......

do i sound absolutely bonkers now>??????????

OP posts:
NativityJane · 03/12/2006 17:30

No, Lulu, not bonkers, it makes a lot of sense to me.

I have hardly had any dreams since being pregnant, I did have a weird one a couple of months back, basically I'd just given birth, we'd gone back to the maternity ward, and someone (I don't know who he or she was) came in the room to have a look at the baby, and as we peeped over the goldfish bowl cot thing there was a baby in there but he was probably 18 months old-ish, with big thick bright blue rimmed NHS style glasses on and loads and loads of proper white blond hair, never worked any of it out!!

And yes I just about managed to get in the van, getting out was a lot easier than I thought it would be! It is awful weather out there though, don't know what everyone else has got but we have had gales and rain the laat couple of days, it is horrendous out there!

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 17:35

Yes it was me. I have weird dreams almost every night. Last night I dreamt that I had a stroller that fit four babies, Four is my limit on children, so maybe it's a sign. Also as part of my dream I dreamt that I bought clothes for my dd (yes I am 100% sure that this is a girl, especially after my 12 week scan) I've been eyeing this collection, and I know what she is wearing home from the hospital. Last night I dreamt that I bought it. Only 5 more weeks till I know.

I started back on my diet today. Before I got pregnant I was eating really well, and exercising. Since I've been pregnant I've taken it as a license to eat crap. So I'm cutting out the crap, and getting back to healthy eating.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 17:37

I also dreamt about vampires, but that was because I was dreaming that I was in a movie.

Yes lulu, Elmo and snufalufagos are still on Sesame. Ds loves elmos so much. But cookie monster is his favorite.

lulumama · 03/12/2006 18:07

gosh...glad that you all don;t think i;m odd!!!! the mind is terribly powerful.....

i had very distinct dreams re the sex of DD...which i think i told MKG on another thread...being shown a blond haired blue eyed boy in one dream and knowing this wasn't my baby and then dreaming hte next night of a dark haired dark eyed girl, and knowing she was mine! complete with close up of her girl bits LOLOLOLOLOLO!!!

also, i dream of water a lot, and water is to me an indicator of how things are going...clear water good, dirty water not....i dreamt a lot of clear water with DD...so i chose the Hebrew name, Mayim for her ( we're jewish ) which means water !!

rambling again.......!! sorry !! LOL

so, anyone had a baby yet ????????

lulumama · 03/12/2006 19:30
