Phew! Big sigh of relief. I would hate to offend any Lucindas out there. But Floella, well you're just dumb for not changing your name.

largevirginbirthandtonic · 07/12/2006 21:46

Lului have a sam! Lovely name...

lulumama · 07/12/2006 21:46

She was but her name was a dud.!

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 21:53

Maybe they're inducing NJ and it's taking a while, or maybe she had a C-section and her dh is overwhelmed with her ds.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:55

So I ate all the chocolate in the house. Then I ate a bag (big) of Sea Salt Rosemary & Thyme crisps. I didn't even like them, but I ate them ,ALL!
What next?

lulumama · 07/12/2006 21:56

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:56

Good thinking MKG. I'm keeping that thought.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 21:59

Or maybe they wouldn't give her the sweep, she got fed up, and they went away for a mini vacation to relax.

wannaBeOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/12/2006 22:09

I really think we should try not to worry. if she went in yesterday, they could have had emergencies which delayed induction, but they might have kept her in for monitoring anyway, and might not have induced until today, and induction might not have succeeded first time, so she might actually still be waiting to go into labour.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 22:14

Or maybe she's sitting at home reading how much we're worrying and is having a great big laugh at us.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 22:17

wannaBe,

What worries me is that if they were going to induce her, they probably would have sent her home to get her things and go back to the hospital later. In which case she would/could have popped in to let us know.

What worries me is that they would have taken her right away if it was an emegency.

lulumama · 07/12/2006 22:18

agree with wannabe.....

unlikely she would have been sent home before induction if indications where her BP rising etc...so DH could have got her things ......

honeltsy..only a day since the sweep appt.........not time to be concerned/...

Now now MKG! I was just in a happy positive frame of mind! Stop casting doubts!!

I want to sleep tonight.

Rosydingdongmerrily · 07/12/2006 22:21

They probably kept her in, her dh came back for her stuff (or maybe she had it with her just in case) then they probably induced her today and she'll be on tomorrow with some news....

lulumama · 07/12/2006 22:22

agree with rosy!!!

will be ok xx

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 22:22

HMM. . .

It worries, because like NJ I went to the midwife for a checkup on a Friday morning because bp was 150/100 for a whole week. She told me they would induce me, so she sent me home to get my things together, and I went to the hospital that evening. Usually here they only send you over right away if it's an emergency.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 22:24

But even if it was an emergency, she was in the hospital. So they fixed it!!

Stop it now.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 22:25

I'm just throwing out scenarios, personally I'm starting to think that she a Debsy are the same person.

The facts:
-Both due in November
-Both having boys
-Both have last name of Oliver.
-Both overdue
-Both suffering with contractions that are getting nowhere.

Rosydingdongmerrily · 07/12/2006 22:27

birds of a feather stick together

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 22:27

I'm sure she's fine, but all this wondering is going to make me crazy.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 22:27

You may have a point there!

Have you scanned the board for one of them mentioning their split personality?

lulumama · 07/12/2006 22:28

LOL!!

look...it is likely she is being monitored pre induction, being induced, or had the baby and having a damn good sleep after 6 weeks of no sleep!

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 07/12/2006 22:30

Maybe she's in Morocco searching out other methods of natural induction, because she's tried them all with no success.
