.. and counting. MW forecasted our son to arrive on the 28th. The closer I get to that date the harder i find it to move, and the pain in the pelvic area is becoming excruciating. Heartburn has increased in intensity too Sad I feel pretty crappy although DH is a complete angel >.< and I feel SO tired -_- are these signs of impeding labor? i don`t have a show yet and the bump is quite normal ( although sometimes harder than usual ).
->feeling exhausted.

Clary sage oil

passthenutella · 24/02/2015 22:56

Thanks will look it upSmile

okeydonkey · 25/02/2015 09:13

Feel like I've been hit by a bus this morning, got midwife later and then Lucky me I have a pregnancy massage this evening. That will get me through the day.

Way2Tired · 25/02/2015 12:05

happy 40 weeks passthenutella :) 40 weeks today for me too and just came back from consultant appointment and our first sweep. I did NOT like that Shock
no clue re clary sage. I know sage is beneficial and all that but maybe okeydonkey can teach us :)
people keep messaging asking about the baby -_- it's getting a bit.. too much .. although I realize everyone is filled with care and good intentions.
on a better note .. food supply for hospital all sorted too. Gotta love DH - he packed all the things we like :)

Oo a sweep, that looks promising. I've decided to put toddler down for nap but will mean she won't sleep til late tonight but I need sleep. Feeling rather sick today

1stBabyQuestions · 25/02/2015 12:27

Bouncing worked for me!!!
Also getting on my hands and knees and cleaning kitchen floor

okeydonkey · 25/02/2015 12:31

Oh no she's refusing to sleep. CBeebies in my bed I think

Way2Tired · 25/02/2015 12:34

i am not so keen to bring it on. i want to let him come in his own time. i have this belief that when the time is right he will come regardless of what i try.
okeydonkey :S hope u will feel better soon... get some rest !

Thanks, I didn't in the end. Ended up sobbing as LO refused her soup, fell off her chair, demanded lots and lots. But went to midwife and sun was shining and lifted my spirits. Maybe emotions part of labour coming?!
Midwife says head is down only 1/5th showing. The sickness maybe labour but she obviously can't promise anything. Have booked in next week and have been offered a sweep. I may have to decline that as I'm unsure of my dates that have been estimated. From last period im due the 12th March from scan im due the 1st.
My mum is coming tomorrow to help with LO and LO is going to inlaws on Friday. So I'm feeling calmer about the next few days as I'll get some rest.

passthenutella · 25/02/2015 18:54

How was your massage okeydonkey hope it helped make you feel a bit better. way2tired in for my sweep on Friday hopefully it starts something. Eating pineapple and bouncing away on the ball here, however I know stubborn little monkey will keep us waiting, taking after daddy already. Keep me updated with your progress :)

okeydonkey · 25/02/2015 22:42

Massage was lovely but struggled to get comfy. Bouncing on ball. Managed to eat but feel sick. I wondering if my sickness is anxiety rather than physical.

Way2Tired · 25/02/2015 23:13

evening ladies _
im still pregnant -_- sweep didnt do much for me other than make baby more agitated at times . i hope he does come before they make me do a second sweep though, I really didn't like how the first one felt. I keep picturing the two of you bouncing on balls :D does it have any effect ?
i bounced around the house - did a lil bit of housework here and there, and kept working ( i am working from home this week as my last "working" week).
it seems so hard to believe that in a few days we will have a little baby in the house. i look at DH and i can see him amazed ( and stressed too ) - and i find myself experiencing the same.

@okeydonkey - sepia uoficinalis ( the 30mg type mostly ) comes highly recommended for mood swings/ emotional moments. it was a life saver for pregnancy for many of my friends.
@passthenutella - does pineapple make the labor come faster? o.O i used to love pineapple but after I got pregnant I couldn't even stand to look at it Blush

I've heard from a few people it can help bring it on, so been eating nesrly one a day. Can't say it's working tho been drinking the raspberry leaf tea by the bucket load too past few weeks. Suppose there's not a lot else to do but wait. Was hoping to go before sweep too, but can't see it.

Way2Tired · 26/02/2015 12:20

one more day is passing -_- and the only thing that changed is that my cough evolved into a downright flu - the kind where i cought so bad that you know what happens BlushBlushBlush i kept tossing and turning all night long cause of all the coughing and sneezing and oh i am SO cranky today because of it Angry

passthenutella · 26/02/2015 16:00

Sorry your feeling so horrible way2tired. It's awful when you can't even take anything to try and make yourself feel better. I had pains earlier today, really sharp and rang the maternity unit. Told to have a bath and take paracetemol but now there's nothing, so looks like I'm still waiting.

Way2Tired · 26/02/2015 17:31

i wonder if our babies will turn out to be always late.. lol.
i managed to get a 2h nap in the afternoon so a bit of my crankiness went away, but this cough is doing my head in ( and my lungs.. and my chest.. and pretty much all of me ). increased the napkins supply for hospital bag too. i cant imagine being in labour and fighting this kind of cough and sneeze in the same time Hmm

okeydonkey · 26/02/2015 17:47

With my previous labour I had horrendous head cold and couldn't imagine labouring. I told my midwife and she said not too worry, the next day I went into labour and it cleared!

okeydonkey · 26/02/2015 17:50

I think I'm 39+4 today. I'm due 1st so yes 39+4. With my DC I went into labour 39+3. So I'm clinging to that, lol.

okeydonkey · 26/02/2015 19:47

Weird question and TMI. But my urine is really hot? What does that mean, does anyone know?

Dogsmom · 26/02/2015 20:38

I'm due on the 1st too and was convinced she'd arrive today but here I am at 8.35pm and very much pregnant.

With dd1 I went into labour at 39+4 and she was born the following day, maybe that's why I've expected the same this time. I've been a bit crampy for the last hour as if I've got a tummy upset and if I didn't know better I'd say her head was hanging out she's that low.

Fingers crossed we'll all have our babies in the next day or so.x

Way2Tired · 26/02/2015 20:43

so apparently all i need to do is get in labour and then bad cold goes away?GrinGrinGrin someone predicted to me our son will arrive around the date of 8th of march -_- i hope it`s not a good prediction though.
DH bought me a beautiful cake today. to celebrate our 40w+1d anniversary. i love how sweet he has become.

i got into a bath today .,, and at some point i found myself thinking same as dogsmom - figured our son`s head was hanging out from how low he is now :D

okeydonkey - no idea re the hot urine. did you ask the mw ?

OP posts:
okeydonkey · 26/02/2015 21:35

Lol, it might be another one of those signs, I've got stuffy nose tonight, I haven't asked midwife but think I need to drink more water.
Come on babies get moving

Way2Tired · 27/02/2015 12:33

any babies on the horizon?

PatMullins · 27/02/2015 12:59

Am curled up on the sofa feeling very sorry for myself!

okeydonkey · 27/02/2015 14:47

I've been back to sleep since 11am just woken up. As LO is elsewhere. Feel I should walk or clean but haven't the energy
