Anyone else overdue and very impatient!

Hi! I'm 40 + 3 today and starting to feel like this is never going to happen. I have had no mucous plug or show that I know of, very few braxton hicks so feel like i have no idea when it's going to start! Baby is 2/5ths engaged so really low now and i am getting a lot of the sharp stabbing cervix pains in the evenings every night now but that's about it!
Anyone else getting annoyed and want to share?!
I also can't drive as of yesterday as I can't shut my legs enough to reach the pedals properly! So house bound now and wondering if today could go any slower!

Now I'm feeding him and my nipples hurt so there's always something!

Just wrote a post and it's gone, hate it when that happens!

I had a sweep at 10am and have been having contractions ever since. They're about every 6 minutes and fairly painful but manageable. DH is on his way home from work... Even though I told him not to! Really hope this is it!

How did your sweep go kitkat?

That's great foulsome. Hope its progressing well. The sweep was unsuccessful as my cervix was too high still! Hard to believe when baby feels so low! I'm hoping it will still have done something as she put her hand pretty far up and it was uncomfortable. The reflexology and aromatherapy afterwards was very nice though so hoping that helps too. Definately had some sharper pains for a few hours afterwards but seems to have died off now. Induction booked for 9 am on Friday now. Hope everyone is doing ok :) x

Kitkat my cervix was high on Friday, waters broke at 4am Monday morning.

Well I'm in labour!

Increasingly painful but have stayed at 5 mins apart since midday.

DD born at 6.12am today! Home birth, unexpected back to back labour which led to many other minor complications but we made it in the end! She's beautiful.

Sent home as delivery ward is too busy for them to do the induction 2day. Going back 2moro at 9am. Gutted! X

Nor did I. I never even thought about induction or reading up on it as I've not known anyone who has been induced for going overdue. Oh well I will soon find out!
