so here we are, 2 days over due, had irregular contractions since 8am.
and at 3pm I think my waters broke so we are going to hospital to get checked.

it could be it, or false alarm, but I had a mother of a contractions 10 minutes ago ago - the next one I will need G&A with!!!!

I'll try to update as I can.

Awww, honey, so sorry you are feeling so rough! I remember those blasted afterbirth pangs with my third, brought me to my knees ( and not in a good way either!)

Now then, is Mr. Zing outside roasting up your placenta on the BBQ? Or did you chuck it in the freezer for Elijah's first birthday?

Secret - placenta has been couriered to you!

Exit - the afterpains (cramps of uterus shrinking, especially at the start of each bf) get progressively worse after each child.
They may not even be noticeable after first, might be mild to strong to severe after 2nd or 3rd, and bloody agony from 4th onwards - and lasting longer.
Simply because the womb has been stretched so many times it takes longer for it to shrink down and it's harder work.

But I'm fine now, thanks to nurofen, then a dose of co-codamol at 7pm, which I will take regularly for at least a week.

MrZing did a bit of shopping and brought me beautiful red roses.
So sweet!

Elijah has been cuddled by all his sibling quite a lot today - DD had a marathon 40 mins cuddle and wouldn't stop kissing him! Quite a u-turn after yesterday, but I'm so happy about it! It was a wonderful sight.
Although the trade off is that she doesn't want to kiss me anymore...she only loves "her" baby now!

Might have to bribe her with some treats tomorrow!
