First babies: when did yours arrive?

Expecting my first, due date is 12 October. I read that on average 1st babies come about 8 days after the 280-day period the doctor calculates. I'm really curious to know how early/late others went into labour with number one!

Doh! obviously I meant info...

3 weeks early with my first.

Went into spontaneous labour at about 9am, hospital at 11am and baby born an hour and a half later at 12.29pm.

Bang on his due date!

Due on 5th went into hospital to be induced on 14th but waters broke on their own and dd born on 15th so in all 10 days after due date

7 weeks early - oops, that was a shock! And I was banking on her being late . . .
So now I always say to people "back your bag at 30 weeks 'cause you never know"

She was born at 37+3 weeks. Fast labour (3 hrs start to finish), no pain relief, no problems with either of us, came home the same day

My DS arrived 4 weeks early, think the thought of induction (due to BP) must have terrified him so he made his way into the world. Was so worried about birth that completely forgot the end result was a baby(!!) but in the end it was nothing to worry about, no pain relief and I couldnt even feel the contractions at stage 2 (12minutes) although the crowning did sting abit.

Darcie was due 4th April 05 came 30th March instead!

Oh well I fit that perfectly - ds1 was 8 days late! :)

Dd1 was 9 days late.

i was 2 weeks late with my 1st

My friend Karen had her baby boy this morning bang on his due date!! 8lb 12 though (ouch)!

11 days early.

mine was three days late

2 weeks early by emergency section.

She was born 7 days early, 11 hour labour, no pain relief, no stitches.

2 weeks late and my second was also 2 weeks late!

Am I allowed to mention that my first arrived on his due date?

Next 3 were 40+1, and we had a huge wait for #5 who was 2 days late.
