First babies: when did yours arrive?

Expecting my first, due date is 12 October. I read that on average 1st babies come about 8 days after the 280-day period the doctor calculates. I'm really curious to know how early/late others went into labour with number one!

14 days late

12 days early

10 Days late & did'nt i know about it

I also got on the castor oil & he was born the next evening

exactly the same as DumbledoresGirl, induced after waters broke and 2 days late.

2 weeks early (waters broke 2.5 weeks early)

Posterior baby by any chance booge?

Due 27/03 born 01/04 in labour from 30/03.

Ten days late, not induced.

13 days late

17 days after induction and emergency caesarian.

Went into labour at 37 weeks + 5, ds arrived at 38 weeks + 0.

Of friends/relatives having first babies:
one delivered the day after her due date
one delivered 6 days early
another delivered 3 or 4 days early

8 days late.

DS came at 38+3

3 days early (or for some, 4 days early - she was born in a leap year)

On Easter Day. 1988. They said come on we want to see this easter bunny ! ! My waters went the day before when staying at MIL's house in the bed, ooops !

my ds1 came on his due date! 3.50am.what a star!

She was evicted by failed induction turned emergency section at 42+2. Man, some people just don't know when to leave.

1 day early!

Ds1 was 12 days overdue. My waters broke 10 days over and I went into labour about 24 hrs later (just before the Monday morning shift were going in to get him!).

Induced at 10 days late, arrived 11 days late.

She started to arrive on her due date (just after I'd finished telling Dh that only 5% of babies arrive on their due date!!) and finally made it via c section at 8am the following morning.

3 weeks early, spontaneous labour

Due 26 Nov. Born 8 Dec after having waters broken by midwife. But had been in latent pre-labour for over a fortnight.
