Following on from the Amanda Holden thread.

Some of you will have had baby, some having baby and others waiting. But on your actual due date what did you do?

I am in the latter group - still waiting, as DD wasn't born until 12 days later.

On my actual due date I was feeling pretty fed up if I am honet. Had planned on staying in. But got bored so DH and me went over to the next town where parents live. There was a big family meal at a local cavery type place so we joined in there. Stayed out latish and - gulp - yes, I had a small glass of wine I think. I loved the reaction I got when people asked me when I was due

With DS1 i gave birth on his due date, my waters had broke 5am the previous morning but he held on until 1.45am on the actual day before he put in an appearance. Spent the rest of the day in a tired emotional daze.
With DS2 i think i spent the day waiting for waters to break, spending as much time outdoors thinking that it was more likely to happen in public than indoors, especially if i was doing the school run. Unfortunatley it didnt happen. DS2 was 8 days late in the end. After all that waiting though he did pop out within 5.5hrs after first contraction so I forgave him for his lateness Grin
