date yes

time no

welshboris · 23/02/2006 20:02

4blue, back off away from Twiglett, the way her children were born is none of your damn business, youre the one who has the problem with c-sections, she doesnt criticise any of your parental choices

Twiglett · 23/02/2006 20:02

yes remember bint from way back when

doormat · 23/02/2006 20:02

bi = bitch
nt = **nt
put them together and you have bint

stephanie21 · 23/02/2006 20:02

joolstoo,yes it is.my dad calls every woman a bint.

uwila · 23/02/2006 20:03

Stephanie. I agree. Knocked out under general anaesthesia is the best way to have a baby. I didn't really do this by choice. But, in retrospect, I deffo think it's the way to go.

"Too posh to push" is a bloody myth. I've never known anyone who though giving birth vaginally was beneath them. I've know lots of people who had elective and/or emergency sections. But, never was it an issue of social status.

I can't believe your doctor refused your request. That is terrible.

4blue1pink · 23/02/2006 20:03

She is criticising me.... i know nothing about her -nor her me!

doormat · 23/02/2006 20:03

I get called a bint all the time

welshboris · 23/02/2006 20:04

cod knows what bint means, someone changed names to bint this week and was chatting to her on a thread

But for once a namechanger was nice to her, unnerved her a bit I think!

Twiglett · 23/02/2006 20:10

when did I criticise your birth choice 4blue?

Twiglett · 23/02/2006 20:11

Lockets ..actually you are told to turn up at 9am having not eaten for 12 hours .. but you never know when it will happen .. with DS I was taken in at 12.50 with DD at 4pm .. you have to wait for emergencies and other planned

I'm sure its different if you go private

Well i'd rather be 'silly' as you say than be an opinunated moaner who spouts rubbish.

pucca · 23/02/2006 20:18

Tbh i have never have a section, but from knowing women who have ..give me contractions and pushing anyday! sections sound much more painful, and i honestly think more traumatic compared to a routine labour.

i shared a ward with two mothers after we had given birth to our children- both of them had c-sections- both of them cried in pain literally all day long.

a c-section is a major operation, one which takes WEEKS to recover from, how can that be an "easy" option?
