I am 38+3 with DC2. Hoping for a VBAC after an EMCS for DC1 with who I got to 9cm's with.

I have had period cramps for over a week, two lots of plug coming away and last night lots of tight feelings high in my bump. The period like cramps are really painful and often are alongside sharp pains down below.

I have a week to go into labour, otherwise I am booked for a CS. I am so fed up of symptom spotting and being in this 'is it- is it not?' place. I went into labour at 38+4 with DC1.

So someone come along and tell me lie to me that todays the day.

Next door neighbour has just rang me from Malta to see if I've had the baby yet! But she's a lovely old lady so I refrained from shouting I'M NOT DUE UNTIL THURSDAY!

Oh, midnight, you'll be marvellous! Hooray for labour- but why does it have to hurt?! You must let us know of your new arrival ASAP. And for gods sake, don't sneeze before your dh gets there!!!!

Feeling extremely crampy. Pubic bine still feels like it's splitting, so baby very low. Been losing blobs of clear mucus show today, no bloody bit though (sorry, tmi).
Just ate half a slab of green and blacks and bounced on ball for half an hour. Going to bed now feeling hopefull.

Hmm domino effect might already be in action! Also v crampy and have just had a bit of blood when I went to the loo Hopefully this means something's happening but knowing me it'll all die off! Bouncing on my ball and having a glass of red

Yep another one who's a bit crampy with quite strong braxton hicks. Sure it'll come to nothing. . We'll see who's still here in the morning. Maybe whip thread will be really quiet tomorrow as we'll all be in labour?

What?! Has she not sneezed yet? Go midnight, go!!!!! Really hoping the VBAC goes off without a hitch. Don't forget, my money's on 8lb 6, they're all wrong, not a whopper at all.

and I am clearly too bleary-eyed- another labour today/tonight dolly?! Could we have two new babies here by morning?!

Everyone must turn up for roll call tomorrow morning, unless they're in labour. That is the only permissable excuse.

Nice to see this thread is still active; it was almost 2 weeks ago when I posted on it last... All the best for you midnight!!

I'm still hanging on with my twins... It's 6 days til induction/CS (finally managed to get through to my ob that I really do want to try VBAC so she's going to let me try). However in the meantime I've been having very promising pains for a few days, sometimes regular (every 10-15 mins) for a few hours and sometimes just a few random ones over an afternoon or whatever, but they are coming more often now and mostly quite painful, so I'm hoping hoping hoping that things will happen before next week! I've also got a sweep booked for tomorrow so am praying that'll be enough to kick-start things properly...

I've not read over the entire thread but good luck to others in similar positions

Still here too. Did have a few mild but painful contractions at about 3am this morning. However, despite inevitable broken sleep, I did go from 10pm until 6am which is the best night I've had in weeks. So now I have some energy I'm ready for labour please. Plan for today = long walk, ball bouncing, 'due date' meal out with dh tonight, and hopefully 'the sex'. Baby tomorrow please?
