cups I think the advice with homebirth is to call the midwife when you need gas and air or ctx are 3/10 and lasting for about a minute each.

I was told to call delivery suite asap just so they could reorganise rotas and things. IIRC I called the MW in a bit of a panic when contractions were 4 minutes apart.

sorry, Friend 1 called Triage about 10 minutes ago, which actually seems a lot longer than that!
they said they'd get someone to call me back.

the conractions feel al ot closer together than they are, apparently, but i'm getting lots of middle level low-level aches that aren't going away inbetween.

this is the weirdest stuff, you know!

Just got home from church myself (and said one for you), things seem to be progressing well.

All fours as much as you can sounds a good plan, in my labours I've knelt in front of the sofa and rested my chest and head on it while wiggling my bum, that seemed to do the trick.

Do not apologise for not posting - you've got bigger fish to fry....

jsut had a horrid one, that she reckons if i'd gone for a wee after about a minute when I thought i needed to, it would have gone, because when I finished weeing, it ramped up a massive notch and i got lots of gunk.

Ohhh this is exciting - December is definitely a good month to have a birthday in (mine's on wednesday, not that that makes me biased at all - ohhh no).

I hope it's all going well, nickel - I had homebirths with ds2 and ds3, and they were wonderful.

pains are doing my fucking head in.

the low level pain is now the same as my old medium ouchies, and the big pains are now really big.
