Did ask dH if he would drive us down to help but he pointed out it was 2 1/2 hour drive so we mat be a bit late

My contractions were like that but closer together. Took 14 hours in total!

Keep as calm as you can and trust your body to do what it is designed to do (but also in a non-panicy way get your DH and a MW there!)

Can you post a photo of Isbn's head when she (I'm betting girl, 8lb 2oz at 5:45pm) arrives, so thousands of MNers can snuggle their screens?

and then mentioned the contractions getting closer together, that Triage said to see what happens and that Friend is on her way over.

Friend is here now.
jsut had a short contraction of 30 seconds, and the one before i did on your timer app, and it was 54 seconds, but that included a bit of back ache too, so prob 45 before the back ache.

sounds good, labour underway.

stay calm, your friend will be round in a minute, then you'll have someone to be with to handle phone calls and things that seem quite silly when you're in labour.

Glad she's there now, if you like the app keep using it, handy for others to see how you're doing if you don't feel like talking.

Thank goodness you're not alone anymore. You are doing SO well.
