there.
part 2 of the "not-live-birth-thread"

How come I can conceive and carry through a pregnancy but I can't finish one?

If I were pregnant I would join any of Nickelbabe's threads as it's surely guaranteed you'll be first.

Nickel youre reminding me of Rachel in Friends. Start thinking who you can sue if this baby doesn't giddy up.

I need a Christmas name too if anyone has any good ideas.

FunnysInTheGarden · 06/12/2011 17:15

oooh the waiting............it seems like it lasts forever. Both mine were overdue by 11 days and had to be induced. But on the plus side both quick births! Good luck, sometimes it seems like the baby will never be born!

Alouisee · 06/12/2011 17:25

I think you need a day off, you're still working and then you do church and other stuff on Sunday. A bit of rest and relaxation if you won't contemplate a flipping orgasm will do you and Isbn the world of good.

muppetthecow · 06/12/2011 17:33

Here comes another lurker. Come on nickel's baby!

Thinking the carol service is a definite possibility - all those lovely tunes about a baby getting shiny stuff? Bound to make it want to come out and get the same :)

youtalkintome · 06/12/2011 17:40

Marking spot well no baby here I've been overtaken by 2 38 weekers on my fb in the last 2 days, grrr., Had a meltdown today and cried for the first time, have tried curry, pineapple an hour of nipple tweaking glycerine suppositories, I'm sure if I've missed anything some kind middle aged lady will tell me tomorrow in a coffee shop will remind me Angry oh had second sweep and slipped on the ice, so if I go into labour tonight you'll all have to find some ice because it will be that what done it Grin. 40+5 today.

nickel you're being a trooper about this.

gin 8 times you've done this clearly you need certifying!

KittieCat · 06/12/2011 17:41

In case it helps... I was 40+15 before DS arrived. I was (eventually) induced and had a fab and v v positive birth experience. Induction for me was deffo not the awful experience I was SO keen to avoid.

Sending labour vibes at ya!

growing3rdbump · 06/12/2011 17:44

It'll be tonight nickel!!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 06/12/2011 17:44

youtalkintome · 06/12/2011 17:53

I've been induced once before, haven't really got too much of an issue with it apart from I want to stay at home this time, the hospital stresses me out so much. I have been +10 and +9 surely I deserve to be little bit earlier this time a day or 2 isn't much to ask Sad. If you add all three together I'll have done nearly an extra 30 days pregnancy, I might use that with the next person who tries to give me well meaning advice on pregnancy

'listen here lady you think you know about pregnancy well I've been pregnant for nearly 160 weeks so don't fucking talk to me about being pregnant'. I might also shout what the fuck do you mean it hasn't dropped yet, I've never fucking met you and I have just seen a professional who says it's engaged Grin

NorksAreMessy · 06/12/2011 18:08

Hello nickel just checking in between job A and job B. See you have been in my thoughts all day. Hope you can have a peacefulnevenong and ISBN is not waiting foe snow to get to kent

NorksAreMessy · 06/12/2011 18:09

I wonder what a nevenong is and if they are generally peaceful

nickelbabe · 06/12/2011 18:42

cried for the first time, youtalkin ? i've cried loads of times!

OP posts:
nickelbabe · 06/12/2011 18:44

yy!! the amount of people who say "you're still really high"
i do this Hmm face and wonder if perhaps they're lookign at someone else - my bump hasn't been high all the way through the pg - definitely lower than other women i've seen, and I was told at 34 weeks (i think. i can't remember how long ago now!) that my bump was visibly lower. and it's dropped again since then.
I can fit a set of encyclopaediae between my boobs and my bump, it's that low!!

OP posts:
youtalkintome · 06/12/2011 18:45

Oh the first time about being overdue I was trying to stay positive but it's too hard.

PositiveAttitude · 06/12/2011 18:45

Marking my spot on this thread. Thanks for opening a new thread. Sending you positive vibes.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/12/2011 18:47
Xmas Hmm
youtalkintome · 06/12/2011 18:48

I thought my bump was quite low the other day I was without a bra, I asked dh if my boobs looked really droopy he said no they're pushed up my your bump, Hmm thanks for that dh.

nickelbabe · 06/12/2011 18:50

that's another thing i'm worried about.
my boobs grew slightly in the 2nd trimester, but they're stayed steady since, (like half a cup size and half a back size) and, i suppose because Isbn's been low all the way through, my ribcage hasn't really expanded.

So my boobs are still really small.
they go on and on and on and on about your boobs getting noticably bigger Hmm

OP posts:
naturalbaby · 06/12/2011 18:53

i lurked on your old thread but think it's time to check in.

i'm placing bets for a baby in 24hrs.

Alouisee · 06/12/2011 18:53

Wait till your milk comes in, each boob will be bigger than Isbns head. I promise.

youtalkintome · 06/12/2011 18:55

Oh god don't worry about that . If you're planning on breast feeding they will get a bit bigger and then look like tangerines in a pair of socks when you finish
