DH was playing Bach's In Dulci Jubilo yesterday, and I was sitting on the organ bench. Isbn moved plenty (it loves the organ music) but no labour vibes.

Actually that's not true - was induced at 40 + 12 and EMCS at 40 + 14. My brain is obviously trying to block it out!

i am beginning to wonder whether the MW had a point about finishing work at 37 weeks.
she made out it was because my body needs rest, but i reckon it was really because she knew i'd get "when's the baby due? why have you not had it yet? every question plausible about babies and their reluctance to be born" by all the random customers throughout the day!
I can count on ONE hand the number who haven't mentioned it.

You need to have more sex. It's definately the preferable way for somebody to mess around with your fanjo. I've had three dcs, been overdue all three times and one induction - with dd1. The other times I managed by myself. You need more sex. Sorry to be desperately blunt but could you get dh to go down on you at least? You need the endorphins if nothing else. I think that's the least he could do.

You never know - you coud get in the guinness world records for the longest pregnancy ever. Maybe ISBN knows it's chilly out here and wants to stay in until August.

Hello! I'm coming across from the other thread too. Seem to be mirroring Nickels (lack of) progress....

I'm 40 +8 with my consultant appointment on thursday. Wanting a natural birth desperately (hopefully a vbac. No 1 was induced at +14, c section +16 - was 3 weeks over by my dates and 9lb10)

We can't possibly keep going on forever can we...

god, that was a rubbish pile of crap, but he had a head that took over his body. (it was a cyst to start with , i think, and it grew into a second head. I recall it was evil)
