I bet you could rant forever. So could I! I’ve been on this thread since the first ever thread about it that someone started. Probably about a year ago now.
The denying autism exists seems to be a new thing and, to me, seems to be a particularly damaging thing to say. Not only is it unhelpful to ignore a diagnosis, but it also feeds into the idea that autism is something to be ashamed of. A bit like how she says anxiety isn’t a mental health problem. I’ll expect a new video from her now clarifying that autism is nothing to be ashamed of, seeing as MN have been her unofficial advisors for so long.
equally, denying autism is her trying to double down on the idea that she is the one and only saviour who knows your child better than any professional could. Don’t believe the professionals, believe me! Bit cult like. No one is allowed to have any negative talk about her or her methods at all. She only wants ‘good’ parents who don’t question anything. I question ALL professionals who treat my child.
