Young Vibes. New company set up by the same people as Your Child Freedom Formula and Peaky Parents

Hello, if you're looking for information on youngvibes.co.uk child anxiety program, they are the same people as YCFF and Peaky Parents. They've set up under a new name.
See previous thread for discussion:

Hello, I received an email off these people today. I run a FB group exposing The Linden Method. We have nearly 500 members. Could someone confirm if these are indeed the Linden Method under a new name? Thank you.
It seems similar at first glance. They certainly claim to 'recover your child from anxiety'
BenHoward3 · 05/08/2022 09:32
Thanks for your responses. The Linden Method is on its arse now. I started a group which was a safe space for real reviews and people to see the truth before joining. They're business is struggling now. Has anyone considered doing the same for these? Nothing will cost them more than the truth. The Linden's won't last much longer, we are getting refunds on a weekly basis now for people, some in the thousands.
It's worth a shot. Cheers.

Hi all,
I signed up to this when they were Youe child freedom formula.
I managed to claim my money back from my credit card company.
Unforturntly there wasn’t all this info out about these people when I booked on.My experience is at first was I thought Sam was great, you get sucked in ( almost cult like) I would defend them and give them great reviews but I soon realised that they couldn’t help my child and all the promises were lies.
They wouldn’t refund me so I went to my credit card company who having seen all the evidence agreed to refund me as I could see that I was misssold.

@Marylou40 when did you start and what promises did they make? Has your child got other diagnosis too? I too have been really let down by them and would like to be refunded but I know how impossible this will be. I am pleased for you that you got your money back and it is very interesting that you got it back on the basis of being mis-sold. If you don't mind me asking, what evidence did you have to give?

Hi,
Thank you. She is in a much better place now. Happy and looking forward to going back to school.
I was told that she didn’t have autism and that it was anxiety and that they would make her better. After 4 mentors they then turned around and said because they think she is autistic they can’t help her. I then asked for my money back and they said no.
thankfully I paid on my credit card and my credit card company refunded it all.
x

That’s great you got your money back. Sam is now saying that she doesn’t believe in autism and that if your child has been diagnosed with it, you can go to her and she’ll treat them for anxiety disorder. And that some GP she once went to said ‘we’re all on the spectrum’.
im so pleased your daughter is doing well and is happy to go back to school.
when we’re you doing the programme, 3x? I wonder if it’s still a possibility to get your money back.
3xteens · 30/08/2022 07:58
@BruisedSkies it was around Easter 2021and we were taken into the program with them knowing our childs diagnosis. You simply cannot treat their anxiety without acknowledging these other diagnosis, and claiming they can recover them from anxiety when the (or a large part of the) cause is part of who they are as a person is naive. I could rant forever!
BruisedSkies · 30/08/2022 09:12
I bet you could rant forever. So could I! I’ve been on this thread since the first ever thread about it that someone started. Probably about a year ago now.
The denying autism exists seems to be a new thing and, to me, seems to be a particularly damaging thing to say. Not only is it unhelpful to ignore a diagnosis, but it also feeds into the idea that autism is something to be ashamed of. A bit like how she says anxiety isn’t a mental health problem. I’ll expect a new video from her now clarifying that autism is nothing to be ashamed of, seeing as MN have been her unofficial advisors for so long.
equally, denying autism is her trying to double down on the idea that she is the one and only saviour who knows your child better than any professional could. Don’t believe the professionals, believe me! Bit cult like. No one is allowed to have any negative talk about her or her methods at all. She only wants ‘good’ parents who don’t question anything. I question ALL professionals who treat my child.

Just found this post, I've just signed up to this programme - is this a big mistake???
Do you have a 14 day period to change your mind? My opinion is you need to check them out and really decide if they can help your child. We paid up and have been massively disappointed and left feeling angry. If your child has any other diagnosis beware, they don't seem to believe these exist!

@gillianp72 I would say yes, big mistake, given what I have read on these threads. If you can stop any further payments until you have least read all the threads on here, I would.
And there is another related thread too but I can't recall the name/title

if you click on the link to the previous thread that is in the OP, then the first reply to that thread gives three earlier threads, so you can start from the beginning.
BruisedSkies · 15/09/2022 13:02
I would say that Sam is not and honest person. She doesn’t have integrity. Read the old threads first and decide. Also, raise your concerns with Sam and see how she responds. Caveat: I have not used this company myself. Also, if your child has any kind of diagnosis of autism or ADHD, she doesn’t believe in them.
