Hello, if you're looking for information on youngvibes.co.uk child anxiety program, they are the same people as YCFF and Peaky Parents. They've set up under a new name.

Thing is, it only takes a few people for them to make a lot of money. So they’ll keep doing it I’m sure.

Shocking! And anxiety disorders are not a mental illness either 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ll have a watch later.

@Mibb2 completely agree and I think it's disgraceful and dangerous. Our child has not been helped at all by the programme because of this attitude. They did not even notice or have any awareness that our child was masking the whole time! If we hadn't been so desperate and easily drawn in at that time we would have saved a lot of upset and money. We feel very angry with ourselves.

You must try not to beat yourselves up. This is a very clever and manipulative advert which completely plays on parents weaknesses at a time of huge stress and vulnerability. If I had spare money I’d be running my own social media campaign directing parents away and towards the many wonderful parent peer support groups across the UK which offer resources, support, training and meet-ups etc with NO charge! Visit
PLACE network to find your local groups 🙏🏼

@3xteens sorry to hear that your child is struggling. I can totally see why people get drawn into this though. They’re so manipulative and know exactly what to say to make you feel like they ‘get’ your child. But there’s no substance behind it.

I can’t believe that video. She’s saying autism doesn’t exist and that it’s all ‘anxiety disorder’.

At the end she says that if you watch her webinar and agree with what she’s saying, then your child does not have autism. That’s fucking nuts. How can she think she can undiagnose a child without having ever even met them? She’s totally deluded.

@BruisedSkies she has no idea and bases everything on her own anxiety and recovery (she seems a highly anxious person still). Not qualified at all to question a professionals diagnosis. Puts a lot of blame on parents who are already blaming themselves as no one wants to see there child debilitated and suffering. I feel so angry with it all 😡

@Perfectstorm72 thank you, we will look at your link.

Yeah she really does blame parents. And blames them if they don’t buy her product for not caring enough about their child. Have you read back over the previous threads and seen the sales script?

Yes I read their sales script it’s disgusting 😞 has anyone got to the bottom of their qualifications in anything other than sales and marketing?

They don’t appear to have any. They did have a fake NHS logo on one of their numerous websites once. To try to give an air of credibility.

These are from replies on Youngvibes Trustpilot. I wonder what they mean about earmarking the profits for schools and universities.

@3xteens sorry to hear you have had a bad experience. I think you could give yourself a break. You were trying to do the best for your child. X

Bloody Nora! I reckon Ds1 would have an opinion about that and I wouldn't actually want him to find that crap on the Internet.

This one about ADHD shows a massive misunderstanding of what ADHD is.

Mibb2 · 01/08/2022 22:58

Sam also says that dyslexia is actually just an anxiety disorder and there is a LOT of "we can permanently recover your child from anxiety" in these videos, which sounds similar to the claims that were investigated by the ASA

BruisedSkies · 01/08/2022 23:12

‘More labels applied than friends’ is so offensive. I’ll look at the other videos later. @3xteens I agree with Mibb you were just trying to do your best. Because you care so much and want your child to feel better. It is so understandable.

Mibb2 · 01/08/2022 23:17

At the end of this video, Sam says she is a qualified anxiety specialist. Hmmm.

Report

Mibb2 · 01/08/2022 23:20

From personal experience it wasn't until I began to understand my child's struggles were ADHD that I could then start to support her to reduce / recover from her anxiety which went alongside.

Report

Mibb2 · 01/08/2022 23:22

@BruisedSkies yes I agree I thought that, and the way she talks about mental health in general is quite dissmisive / offensive from someone who claims to be supportive and caring.

Report

BruisedSkies · 02/08/2022 09:22

What??? In that video she says that ‘every child who comes to me recovers - guaranteed’ that’s such crap and is obviously not true. And she has also been told by the ASA that she’s not allowed to say that.

Report

TeenDivided · 02/08/2022 10:25

That woman is a menace.
If she stuck to being a self help support group it would be one thing, but she consistently over sells and over reaches.

Report

BruisedSkies · 02/08/2022 12:57

It’s so true Teen, she is a menace. she’s saying that ADHD isn’t real, neither is autism - it’s all an anxiety disorder. Which is just a fear disorder, which is just too much adrenaline.

She’s also now moving into supporting trans kids, according to one of her videos.

I’m glad to hear that your daughter is feeling much better. I’m so pleased for her. I’ve name changed again since I last posted so you won’t recognise my name.
