Wow. Just ordered and got email confirmation.

Let's hope this isn't too good to be true...

bundlebelly · 24/08/2010 20:24

Have got one too. Thanks! Lets hope it all goes ok! Love a bargain.

midnightexpress · 24/08/2010 20:25

Oh great, thanks - just ordered one - didn't realise they're offering 3 colours at the same price though (damn, I'd have ordered red if I'd seen it). Perhaps it's right though - maybe bringing in a new line or something and want to get shot of the old stock?

nicm · 24/08/2010 20:26

Wow, I've just ordered, hope this is real!

Thanks :)

TheBountyMuncher · 24/08/2010 20:32

Just had a nose on HUKD, and someone has apparently contacted mothercare, and been told it's legit, but they will cancel orders of 5 or more.
(don't know how true any of that is though!)

geordieminx · 24/08/2010 20:32

MrsDrOwenHunt · 24/08/2010 20:33

pollywollywoowah · 24/08/2010 20:33

Not read whole thread so I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but this seat is a Which? best buy!

The Concord Lift Evo PT a Best Buy in 2006 and then again in the 2007 retest to our new, more stringent test, is comfortable, provides good leg support for the child, and it's easy to move from car to car something worth remembering if you're a two-car family.

This seat is a booster with backrest, designed for transporting children from 4 to 12 years (15 to 36 kg). It uses the 3-point adult seat belt to secure both the seat and the child.

It's light-weight, very easy to install, and it offers adequate front crash protection. Side crash protection is good, and is aided by the unusual side 'wings' on the seat, which extend downwards to provide extra protection for the child's abdomen.

It's also possible to adjust the seat's recline angle, which makes it more likely that you'll be able to get a good, snug fit whatever the rake of your rear seats.

The high back is good for taller children, but in some cars it touches the head restraints, which may need removing to allow the seat to sit flat against the car seat-back.

Pros: Easy to fit using the seat belt, easy size adjustment, very high backrest, light-weight for easy handling, machine washable cover

Cons: Finish quality slightly poorer than other models

glitterkitty · 24/08/2010 20:35

Gone. Sad

BexieID · 24/08/2010 20:36

Darn it, just wasted 30 mins adding the other bits I want from Mothercare and it's OOS. Never mind, just wanted one for my parents to have so not urgent or anything. But 30 mins wasted. Do I order the rest in my basket?

Ilythia · 24/08/2010 20:37

Dammit, between viewing it and logging in it has gone out of stock, boo.

BorisTheBold · 24/08/2010 20:37

Great - thanks very much for this link!

TheBountyMuncher · 24/08/2010 20:38

Does anyone get all giddy when things like this come up? All fast heartbeat, and jiggling about...
I did it with the beds a couple of years ago, think that may have been here, on mn?)

stripeyknickersspottysocks · 24/08/2010 20:38

I bet MN has nearly crashed the Mothercare website. Grin I hope you get them.

Meglet · 24/08/2010 20:38

They've changed it back now Sad.

That was the one I was going to get anyway as it was a Which best buy.

OhBuggerandArse · 24/08/2010 20:39

And it's now gone back to showing £119.99 as the price.

Oh well, guess all the people I told about it will miss out...
